The relief of sickness and the protection and preservation of the health of persons affected by abdominal hernias through the provision of financial assistance, surgical operations, surgical equipment, surgical facilities and practical advice to those people residing in Africa (Gambia, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania), South America (Brazil, Peru) and Asia (Pakistan and Mongolia).

We provide training in the care of newborn babies to healthcare staff in low-resource areas, in order to improve infant mortality rates and relieve sickness. We also provide training to candidate instructors, so that they can teach courses and make the process sustainable. We have taught in Cameroon, Liberia and Uganda, and plan to expand to other areas.

EMMA recruits volunteer health care professionals from the UK and overseas for short term medical missions in resource-poor settings, both rural and urban, in nations where we have a contact or invitation from a Christian church or organisation that can provide local support. Since 2010 EMMA has organised trips to Kenya, India, Ghana, Liberia, Indonesia and Sierra Leone.

The maintenance, improvement, or provision of public amenities in Nigeria by providing modern state art toilets and wholesome drinking water and washing facilities in Rural Areas, Transport Parks, and other areas showing appalling state of sanitary facilities; and2. Ethnic Voice offers practical help and advice on learning and work to members of the BME group, whether you are in work or unemployed. It is a local service and it is delivered by a group of volunteers who have had similar experience. It aims to build a relationship between members of the BME group in England and Wales with their Home Countries,in the areas of Education,Health,Environment

The Rotary Club of Stone & District provides Community Service locally, nationally and internationally either by volunteering or by using funds contributed by members of the Club or by the general public. Such service may include educational grants, or grants to relieve poverty

We give support to persons with special needs in Nigeria and Ghana through training and school fees payment. We are also growing our membership and volunteers. We are planning for the Future Talks in school. A day Science Expo for the blind. And our December Hands on Science Camp and Charity fund raising event in Sheffield, and others.
