MERSEYSIDE SUDANESE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION serves all parts of the diaspora Sudanese community in Liverpool and its region. We provide premises for meetings, celebrations and activities. We are focussing on the needs of our children & young people, and women within our community. We run education classes for our schoolchildren and a meeting space for women, as well as men.

The principal activity of the charity is the provision of food for homeless individuals.

We offer an opportunity for young people from the Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales area to perform in regular theatre performances and concerts, led by professionals and in a professional venue

FUND RAISING FOR THE BETTER EDUCATION, WELFARE AND ENJOYMENT OF THE CHILDREN OF ST AUSTIN'S SCHOOL

The Merseyside Holiday Service aims to help people on Merseyside who are in need of aholiday break but who are unable to afford the full cost themselves. Those that we assist are allon very low incomes and have families with young children who have been living and suffering under some exceptional difficulty or stress and who would benefit from a short break away from their homeenvironment.

To actively promote the health of children and young people by supporting initiatives which can alleviate sickness and suffering across Nepal and to support care and treatment for patients in Kanti Children's Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal, by providing specialist equipment and through the facilitation of training and development of clinical staff.

The Trust owns and maintains Spray, a Morecambe Bay Prawner built in 1896

The preservation and protection of good health among survivors of breast cancer within the Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire areas by the provision of facilities for exercise, in particular dragon boat racing. Intended to reduce the risk of lymphoedema for those otherwise at risk.
