The Somali Womens Group is a long established group providing recreation and educational activities for the local community. A range of services include Health & Wellbeing projects, Culture, English language and Citizenship classes for women, Education/Playschemes for children. The centre has an open door policy which means that its facilities are available to its members and the wider community.

The principal activity of the charity is the provision of food for homeless individuals.

Caring for the environment by regenerating and improving a sizeable estate pond and surrounding borders/grass. Raising finance to completely renew a toddler?s play area.
