THIS ENHANCES QUALITY OF LIVE IN WOOLTON, ATTRACTS VISITORS. ASSISTS THE ECONOMY. WOOLTON HAS WONBEST LARGE VILLAGE IN THE NORTH WEST 8 TIMES, A SILVER GILT AND 2 GOLD MEDALS IN THE NATIONAL BRITAIN IN BLOOM COMPETITION.

We Cruise the Leeds Liverpool Canal and enjoy trips through the Iconic Liverpool Link, we only have one boat, but hopefully in the near future we will have Pride 3 and more trips arranged. We continue to work with C&RT and local schools, we also continue to support groups in their fund raising. 2014 seen us take part in "Barging round Britain" with John Sergeant screened in April 2015.

Community activities and fundraising events

The Trust makes small grants to individuals in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool who are attending second chance learning through Further Education establishments, including ESOL programmes. Grants are for the books or equipment the individual needs for their educational courses or training programmes.

We are a Liverpool-based charity supporting people on the streets by providing warm food, drinks, clothing, sleeping bags, tents, and a listening ear. Run entirely by unpaid volunteers, we rely solely on the generosity of our supporters to make a difference

The organisation currently organises schools events such as school discos, summer and christmas fayres and selling of Xmas cards to raise funds.These funds are used to enhance the education experience of the children at Belvedere through the purchase of additional equipment, programmes and resources.

Our choir learns and performs early choral music often with other early music musicians (pre-renaissance, renaissance and some baroque) around the North West of England and North Wales. We learn about early music and musical performance from our employed musical director and inform the public about early music at our recitals.

Using the preserved aircraft on site, the Jetstream Club helps to educate both the general public and many youth organisations who express an interest in aviation related activities.

Covering five broad areas of Cathedral life - Visitors, Music, Mission, Fabric and Precinct - our aim is to ensure that Liverpool Cathedral is fit for purpose for all of its visitors and fully equipped to serve its City and Diocese during its second century and beyond. Additionally, through new facilities, we aim to generate new income streams in a major step towards self-sufficiency.

Our charity runs different events throughout the year, with our biggest being the School Christmas fair. Family bingos and children's discos are also a big hit.

Fundraising by a number of events. Support given to a wide range of Charities and other good causes - local, national and international - particularly relief to needy, youth development, community support and Rotary charities.
