Liverpool U3A, a branch of the University of the Third Age, is a self-help co-operative learning charity for people no longer in full time employment, using the knowledge, experience and skills of its members to organise specialist educational, creative and leisure interest groups and monthly general meetings with guest speakers.

WOMEN OF WOOLTON'S WOMEN'S INSTITUTE IS A LOCAL BRANCH OF THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN'S INSTITUTES. THE AIM IS TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF WOMEN, PROVIDE SOCIAL AND CRAFT ACTIVITIES AND GET INVOLVED IN LOCAL EVENTS. THE MEETINGS TAKE PLACE MONTHLY, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF AUGUST, AND USUALLY COMMENCE WITH A SPEAKER CHOSEN FROM A WIDE RANGE OF SUBJECT MATTER.

The Wirral Society is a non-political environmental watchdog, whose object is to protect, preserve and encourage awareness of the Wirral Peninsula's environment. It acts through dialogue and written comments on planning applications and other proposals for change, through supporting other groups' initiatives, and through talks and occasional publications.

To provide assistance and support for the Park's projects aimed at conserving and enhancing Harthill and Calderstones Park and its appeal to the general public by purchasing items for the Park.Also to advance the education of the public and members of the Friends by providing opportunities to participate in educational meetings relating to flora and fauna. A Newsletter is provided quarterly.

We provide young victims of bullying and hate crime, and their families, with advice, guidance, advocacy and practical support to help alleviate their sense of hurt and helplessness, inform and empower their emotional response, recovery of pride and ambition. The Sri Lankan Educational Foundation has been established to offer help with educational and other resources to students in a rural area of Sri Lanka, who may not have sufficient resources to continue their education. These will include help with their primary needs such as books, clothes and furniture .
