We provide welfare rights and debt advice and casework assistance, and financial inclusion advice by home visit and telephone to Housing Association tenants in Merseyside, and to other residents of Liverpool, and training in welfare rights, debt and financial literacy to the general public. We also provide support to social housing tenants aimed at improving their financial confidence.

The charity assists parents and children who are in necessitous circumstances, in particluar those families who have suffered from violence or maltreatment in their homes and families in crisis.

MCGI is a Christian religious organization, with its main headquarters in the Philippines and various chapters located around the globe including the UK and the Isle of Man. South Liverpool Foodbank gives food to people in food crisis. Each client visiting one of our five Foodbank food distribution centres with a food ?voucher? is given a food parcel comprising sufficient food for 3 full days. Food parcel size is determined by the number of adults and children listed on the food voucher. The food provided is tinned or packeted and within the Best Before Date.

The Congregation focuses at those activities that aid the facilitation of advancement of Christian Religion according the tenets of the Roman Catholic Church. It also works towards facilitating education of the under-privileged people, the relief of the needy, help of the sick and distressed people and towards promoting research into the conditions of life of the inhabitants in general.
