Ufulu is a UK charity whose aim is to end period poverty among women and girls in Malawi. We run educational workshops on menstrual hygiene and provide free sanitary products, namely reusable menstrual cups. We educate young girls on menstrual and feminine hygiene and provide ongoing support networks for both women and girls.

The African Bird Club gives grants to individuals and groups in African countries to support a wide range of small to medium-sized projects there that benefit the conservation of African birds or their habitats. Our website is the primary online source for all things to do with African birds. We also publish a twice-yearly, peer-reviewed bulletin, and we are developing a series of birding apps.

The Give Hope Trust is a Christian charity set up to support deprived communities focusing on children worldwide. Our work focuses on children's education, adult training, medical care, christian pastoral care and creation of sustainable social enterprises.

The Charity's principal activity is to facilitate the provision of post-graduate level higher education and the study of law by individuals from the continent of Africa.

The provision of clean and safe drinking water which results in the reduction/elimination of water-borne diseases, resulting in improved health, higher attendance rates at school and, consequently, better educational outcomes and improved ability to work, thus relieving poverty. Village Foundations is currently working in Mwanyama Village, Nkhudzi Bay, Malawi. We evaluate the effectiveness of our work and build capacity of film makers and clinicians to make health films. Lovewise aims to provide Christian teaching on marriage, sex and relationships to young people. Lovewise resources have been prepared for use in schools, church youth groups and by parents at home. Our main office is in Newcastle upon Tyne and work is carried out by employees and volunteers throughout the UK, some resources have also been translated into other languages.

Soroptimist International Foundation is a global organisation collecting appeal donations from 5 member Federations and the public. The Foundation makes grants to providers that educate, empower and enable women and girls. Projects and programmes are funded in countries where need has been identified to improve the lives of women and girls.
