The British Council Benevolent Fund's charitable purpose is the alleviation of financial hardship for British Council employees, both past and present, and their families, globally. Prodigal Bikes collects unwanted bikes in the UK. We refurbish them, then send them to Africa to help people there gain access to education, healthcare and employment. The bikes are prepared here by ex-offenders, ex-homeless people and school children at risk of exclusion. We teach them bike maintenance skills and inspire them towards further training and employment in Engineering related jobs.

The Deacon Foundation has been established specifically to provide an efficient mechanism to collect and account for funds raised by all elements of the Running on Empty project and to distribute those funds to the lowest level in the fight against Parkinsons Disease and particularly to address the stigma associated with it.

THE 'FOSTER PARENTS' PROVIDE LOCAL HELP AND ADVICE THROUGHOUT THE ADOPTION AS WELL AS PROVIDING A VITAL LINK IN THE AFTERCARE SERVICE. WE ALSO MAKE GRANTS TO & ASSIST OTHER UK REGISTERED CHARITIES WITH SIMILAR PURPOSES.

The relief of poverty and suffering wherever possible both locally and overseas, mainly from donations by the parishioners of Catholic Leamington (St Peter's Leamington, St Joseph's Whitnash, Our Lady's Lillington) for projects commended by them.

It cares for those dying of AIDS related diseases and allows the children of those dying to meet their new house-parents before their real parents die. It supports both the running of an orphanage in Ecuador, South America, and AIDS education and community support in Columbia.
