Charities In Malawi

The charity provides support for the education of orphans in Malawi. Kenya and Zimbabwe. We do this by paying the school fees, examination fees and school uniforms. we work with local church groups to identify suitable candidate.

It gives bursaries to help poor children overseas to access local schools, and funds infrastructure improvements such as classrooms, furniture, toilets and computers. Priority is given to those schools and projects in which volunteers from Africa & Asia Venture have been placed. Some support is also given to deserving volunteers to these schools.

The objects of WORD Trust International are to advance education and relieve poverty, sickness, and hardship among orphans, widows, widowers, single parents, and other vulnerable persons worldwide, and to promote social justice, equality, human dignity, and the well-being of deprived and marginalized communities, in a manner consistent with Christian values and the love of Christ

The Fund assists with projects, mostly educational, in poor countries. It has, for example, helped with the education of poor boys in Kenya and in India and sponsored the well-being and education of poor children in Asia, South America and Africa. It has also granted funds to assist the building of a new school in Kenya.

Untangled International works to 'untangle' how to use business to advance missions in the developing world. We set up small businesses which fund rural church workers. Untangled provides support to these church workers in all areas of setting up and running these businesses.

The charity provides funding for the running costs of Mbalamanja preschool in the Monkey Bay province of Malawi. Grants are paid to the caretakers of the preschool, of which, the funds are divided to cover the cost of daily meals for the children, learning and recreational resources, building maintenance and development, and personal income for the caretakers.

Poliphonia is an UK based charity with the purpose of promoting the classical music of the Americas. We promote concerts in the UK with repertoire from composers from the Americas, sponsor young players interested in learning this repertoire, restore music still in manuscript form to facilitate performance and produce recordings and film of performances and educational content.

The Reginald Ames Charitable Trust was established to provide grants and donations to various charities and other organisations in tea-growing regions worldwide. We work mainly in Sub-Sahara Africa focusing on poverty relief and prevention, promotion of religious and racial harmony and the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. The Sick be Nourished Project donates medical/surgical equipment to a variety of medical facilities across the UK, Africa, and the Caribbean. We assist with emergency care needs. We also host health related workshops and provide information on health related topics, providing training initiatives and working with local practitioners to assist in developing services in their communities

The main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to the charities objects are:1. Implementing menstrual hygiene management, providing education and awareness of menstrual cups.2. Providing menstrual cups to women and girls in those communities who have received awareness training.3. Provide long term cup users with educational opportunities.

Provision of medical services for maintenance and restoration of sight

An international health link between TEWV NHS Foundation Trust and mental health services in the Zomba District of Malawi, Central Africa. The link was established in 1999 and provides education and training in the care and treatment of people with mental health problems.

MOSAIC is committed to protecting human rights and fighting human trafficking and modern slavery through partnerships, advocacy, and education. By offering support, conducting research, and providing direct services, MOSAIC enables communities to identify trafficking risks and aid survivors. MOSAIC also plans to expand outreach, address trafficking cases, and launch a multilingual website.
