RAISING FUNDS FOR OUR SCHOOL

We are a small independent Pentecostal Church whose main focus is the worship of and learning about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as we seek to develop as Christians both individually and corporately as a congregation.

Provide sports and social facilities for disabled members of the Medway Towns and surrounding areas.

Petronela's Hope supports women, children and families affected by domestic violence and hardship. We provide therapy sessions, foodbank support, childrens and art clubs, a youth football club, interpreter services and community events raising awareness and offering help.We also organise fundraising events to support our charitable projects and services.

Raising funds by charitable events to purchase teddy bears, to supply children in distress at accident & emergency units at the following hospitals, Maidstone Hospital, Medway Maritime Gillingham, William Harvey Ashford, Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Margate, and seven minor injury units around East Kent.

The advancement of the study, practice and appreciation of the art and science of music, and in particular of 'Early Music', eg by organising workshops, lectures, courses etc, both live and online, and by disseminating information relating to early music to SEMF members and others. SEMF is one of 9 UK regional Early Music Fora; our main area of operation is the south and south east of England.

Hire of village hall for use by local community and doctors surgery.

Our charity mainly raises funds through our school community, for the school.

For the public benefit, the relief of those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, in need of a meal and refreshment on a frequent or occasional basis in the Medway area, who choose to attend each Saturday at the Quaker Meeting House in Rochester. We provide food, drinks and an opportunity for social interaction and information in a peaceful, caring and non-judgemental environment.

To provide sport and recreational facilities for the elderly and old people living in and around the Medway area using facilities which are fully maintained for the stated purpose.

The Laurence Plummer Foundation aims to support young people from Medway & Kent in participating in Sport with a particular focus on helping those from deprived and low income backgrounds. The Laurence Plummer Foundation offers small grants to individuals, sports clubs, youth groups and schools to help improve participation and assist with young people making the next step in their sport.

Weekly meetings, day trips, speakers, quizes

We collect money from mainly within our membership, by circulation of a regular charity box, raffles and charity evenings. This money is used to support local charities and needy causes. Some of this money is also given to our Grand Charity for donation around the world to disaster areas for instance (Tsunami being one). We also support the needy widows of our past members and those in distress

The aim of the Association is the promotion, preservation and protection of oral health amongst ethnic minority groups, especially within the African and Caribbean communities in the UK, and the world at large.

Kent Liberal Jewish Community - Ohel Rachel is part of Liberal Judaism. We have around 50 members living all over Kent and hold monthly Shabbat services in Maidstone, as well as Festival services and social events. All Jewish men and women, including those with non-Jewish partners and those who are Jews by choice, will receive a warm welcome in our community.

Providing safe training and activities for young people aged 6 to 18. Teaching respect for the Environment and Community whilst taking part in various activities including swimming, hiking and camping.

A charity to assist in maintaining the fabric and contents of St Nicholas' Church, Linton, Kent

Providing support and exercise mainly through the sports of Tennis and Pickleball for Wellbeing, Physical and Mental health. Various Disabilities supported and free sessions provided across our venues Giving more confidence and self belief to all.

The friends help Kent Music School to run their Medway Towns Music Centre. The friends of MTMC provide helpers, music, instruments, music equipment such as stands, run a reedshop & tuckshop and provide theory & aural booster classes and bursaries.

Union Christian Fellowship hold worship meetings and annual conventions for the UK Malayalee and other communities.Through the provision of grants we support people subject to poverty prioritising the uplifting of society, underprivileged or marginalised people and education. There are no geographical restrictions. A regular beneficiary of these activities is Michael & John Job Centre, India.

Fundraising events and promotions organised by The Trustees and their Kent based Fund Raising Committee to benefit mental health charities providing support to beneficiaries in Kent and Medway.

Bradfields PTFA raised money for Bradfields Special Needs Academy, which is an education provision for young people aged between four and nineteen years, all of whom have complex learning needs. The aim of the PTFA is to raise money to provide new experiences and opportunities for the students as well as to link with parents and carers.
