The Trust was set up in 1981 by a bequest from Mr W. H. Dobson (a former Gillingham Borough Council engineer) for the purpose of providing enjoyment and welfare to elderly people in the Gillingham Borough Area. The trust exercise this duty by giving grants to groups providing welfare for the elderly, as well as making direct grants to individuals.

RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE FORMER CITY OF ROCHESTER AS CONSTITUTED ON 31ST MARCH 1974 WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED OF HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS..

This is a Parent, Teacher and Friend Association which fundraises to support St. Nicholas C.E.V.C. Primary School in Strood, Kent.

What if (Community) Limited is an arts related community group giving individuals and groups voice in developing their gifts and wellbeing. What if (Community) grew out of the community work of Holy Trinity Church Dartford.

To improve and develop conditions of rural life and to advance the education of country women in citizenship, in public questions both national and inter-national, in music, drama and other cultural subjects, also to secure instruction and training in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare.

We work with Raynet amateur radio groups in Kent and Medway, who provide emergency support to humanitarian organisations; and to Category 1 and Category 2 organisations specified in the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, ie the emergency services, central and local government, and essential utilities. We help provide communication services, equipment, and training.

To provide competition prizes to any school children resident in KentTo grant a bursary to any resident of Kent attending higher education

The purpose of the charity is to provide assistance to the poor, sick and needy of the ancient parish of Gillingham.

Medway Night Shelter is run by Medway Churches and other concerned local groups to help homeless people with a connection to Medway. Originally set up to provide support during the coldest and most difficult time of the year, activities have expanded to include a year round project for homeless and vulnerably housed people, namely a drop in centre.

Thomas Stevens, a gentleman farmer, owner of Parsonage Farm, Cobham died 1893 and the charity was founded under the provision of his will. A charitable trust bequeathed to the parish of Cuxton, Kent, for those who deserve benefit. Originally set up to provide bread or coals for the poor; now interpreted as food or fuel. Beneficiaries must live within Cuxton civil parish for the minimum of 2 years.

St Mary's Catholic Primary School PTA - Various fundraising events including Christmas Bazaar, Summer Fayre, Summer School Disco, Raffles and various Tag Days throughout the year

We try to make things better for children, single-parent families, low-income families, and families facing financial crises, we focus on young families and new parents in need of baby items.We do this by providing support packages to give relief for basic needs of nutrition, hygiene, self-care and clothing. We help families to fulfil their needs and help them find services within the community.

Historic Swale is an umbrella charity which supports member attractions and organisations in the 3 areas which make up the Swale district to collectively showcase the diverse and fascinating heritage which the Borough offers.

Donations and purchase of equiptment for individual children who are mentally and physically handicapped and associated organisations/charities. In 2012 the charity paid for three older children from Bower Grove School to attend at residential holiday and landscaped a garden at Greenfields Childrens Centre with raised beds allowing the young children to plant and watch things grow.

To pursue the objects of the main chairity, ie The Parachute Regimental Association.
