Our approach involves Trauma Informed Practice to support the entire family, emphasising our model of the 4 Rs Relationships, Resilience, Reconnection, and Recovery.

We aim to help communities, especially those most marginalised and disadvantaged, influence health and social care planning and delivery to more accurately reflect local needs and aspirations.

The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Pastoral work for the visiting the sick and bereaved. The Vocational Learning Trust has built a vocational learning centre called The Work Place. VOLT is responsible for ensuring the building is used for the aims and objectives of the Trust and also has a remit to raise funds for educational purposes.

Weekly drop-in sessions offer friendship, practical and emotional support with access to clothing and household goods. The Welcome session gives new clients essential information about their locality.Clients practice their spoken English at Come & Chat and share lunch together. A games afternoon, two Health & Fitness sessions and football coaching give our clients recreational opportunities.

Our mission is to give families from the UK affected by the devastating impact of cancer, a much needed break from long hospital stays, traumatic medical procedures and cancer related treatments ? so that they may spend quality time together recuperating and enjoying life as a ?normal? family ? strengthening relationships and creating lasting happy memories.

Advocating, raising awareness and educating the public, statutory and non- statutory agencies about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people. This includes staging an annual LGBT festival and smaller events, including regular social events for the LGBT community and allies in a safe environment throughout the year.

We focus on music, singing and dancing, keep fit, anti bullying techniques, martial arts and revision classes for school curriculum support We have a full gym, music rooms, podcast/tv studio a recording studio , a traverse wall for rock climbing. We produce films and videos, made by our users.

We are a group of 45 unpaid volunteers who provide search and rescue services to people and animals who find themselves in difficulty, mainly in the countryside. We are available all day every day, whatever the weather. An Operational Support Group aid the Search and Rescue members. We depend on donations and fundraising. We assist both the Police and the Ambulance Service and other services.

We provide and maintain community sports and recreation facilities for people of all ages in Nunthorpe, Marton and Ormesby. Through football, cricket, racket sports, running, quoits, volunteering and community activities, we promote health, wellbeing, social inclusion and active lifestyles while preserving open space for public benefit
