To advance education for the public benefit by providing an assisting in the provision of facilities, not required to be provided by the local education authority for education, at the voluntary primary School at Usk and to promote the education (including social and physical training) of people resident in the area of benefit in such ways as the charity trustees think fit.

We provide a weekly community cafe for all in the community to come and spend time together, to help reduce loneliness and to rekindle the sense of community in our village. We also hold a monthly cinema and a twice termly kids kafe. We are in the process of building a permanent community shop and cafe

The principal activity of the Charity is the mangement and maintenance of the St Michael's Centre, a community centre for the benefit of the people of Abergavenny and district.

Lydbrook band is a voluntary organisation that gives the opportunity for people who live in and around the community to come together and enjoy making music with our fellow brass band colleagues. We give concerts in our community and sometimes travel further afield. We also teach young and older people to play brass instruments and loan them an instrument free of charge if needed.

Providing Grants to individuals for land based couses who live in the area of receipt

The Charity operates a museum situated in the town of Usk and open to the public, with the aim of collecting, preserving and making available for research and education, artifacts and documents related to rural life in Monmouthshire.

We seek to serve school communities by presenting information about the Christian faith in line with statutory requirements. When a headteacher invites us, a local worker visits the school to take part in an assembly or teach a particular aspect of the school's provision. We work in South-East Wales, mainly in Welsh-medium primary schools.

The society presents high-quality, public chamber music recitals, typically 10-12 per annum.

Amateur Dramatic Company which provides arts to the local communities throughout South Wales

Gwent Bach Choir provides education for the public and training for its members by producing at least three choral concerts every year, these concerts being mostly classical in content. Membership of Gwent Bach Choir is open to adults over the age of 18 who have some musical experience. Attendance at concerts is open to people of all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. .

Monmouth Choral Society is a mixed amateur choir of 40 singers, conducted by Dr Steven Kings. There are four public performances a year of major and less well known choral works in Monmouth. Choral workshops are regularly held and the choir is supported by 'Friends'

We are committed to raising additional funds for the school by organising regular charitable events

To educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts, and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts.

Provision of low cost rural housing to local people

The provision Conflict resolution services ( mediation /conflict support ) within the geographical area of South Wales .Also accredited and informal training and learning provision with regards to conflict Resolution

To promote the relief of sickness, disability and poverty for young persons under the age of 18 with a view to improving the quality of life for such persons. The Trust will primarily focus it's activities in South Wales, Newcastle-upon-Tyne & the North East, the Algarve region in Portugal or other locations as deemed appropriate by the Trustees.

To advance the public education in the history and culture of Abergavenny and surrounding area in particular by supporting Abergavenny Museum and Castle. Projects include our blue plaques trail, guided walks, town centre street survey, oral history, publication of books and a DVD. We organise lectures and visits programmes, give talks and give grants to local school children and students.
