THE MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY ARE: TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF RETIRED OFFICERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY FUNDING PROVISION OF RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES AND TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST ELDERLY RETIRED OFFICERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY FUNDING PROVISION OF RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES.

The advancement of the Islamic religion.To educate and inform humanity about the noble message of Islam.To train Islamic educators to deliver talks, seminars and other public engagements.To produce and distribute Islamic education resources.To carry out research into contemporary issues facing the Islam and the Muslim community.

The charity supports, amongst others: (a) the advancement of education, in particular through projects in Africa and by funding research, and (b) the conservation and preservation of the environment, biological diversity and the sustainable use of natural resources, in particular by funding highly scalable, science based, research initiatives to help in containing and adapting to Climate Change.

We promote charities that save and improve lives the most per dollar as identified by the U.S. organisation GiveWell. We raise funds on their behalf and make grants to further their life improving and life saving programs.

In 2017, the Society supported programmes in more than 20 countries spread across 14 Anglican provinces through relationship and partnership. Our programmes equip church leaders with skills that enable wider participation in integral mission and development as well as empower churches and ordinary people to take control of their health and communities through vibrant and participatory processes.

Our focus is on non-confrontational, pragmatic, science-based programmes & solutions to build a world where biodiversity thrives & people conserve nature both for its own sake and for its ability to enrich human lives. The programmes TNC-UK supports will focus on globally significant lands, rivers, lakes, oceans and strategies to create more sustainable cities and stabilise the climate.

Engagement and support in conservation management to formal protected areas and community-based conservation areas in Africa to protect wildlife, habitats and ecosystem integrity whilst unlocking economic opportunities and value for local rural communities.

To work for the advancement of parliamentary democracy throughout the Commonwealth.

The charitable activities are focussed on the Khomani San in Kalahari, conservation agriculture in Namibia, wildlife conservation in southern Africa and financial support to various UK registered charities in the fields of international conservation and/ or community development.

The advancement of education and professional development in the science and technology of brewing, distilling and related industries through the provision of professional examinations and qualifications that are recognised globally and supported by appropriate training and seminars.

The Organisation facilitates the design, delivery, and scale-up of evidence-based, freely available parenting solutions to promote healthy child development and wellbeing, and prevent family violence.

The Foundation is currently focusing on raising funds and actively working for the survival of tigers, elephants, rhinos and other critically endangered mammals in the wild. The Foundation concentrates its focus on field projects where even limited funding makes a real difference to the survival of wildlife and their habitat. It also runs active enforcement, training and education projects.

Working in partnership with non-profit organisations, corporations and government bodies, the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women develops projects with sustainable solutions to the challenges women entrepreneurs face through three programmes: Enterprise Development, Mentoring and Mobile Technology.

FEE acts as an umbrella organisation for NGOs in different countries that are implementing the FEE programmes nationally. FEE is mainly active through its five environmental education programmes: Blue Flag, Eco-Schools, Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE), Learning about Forests (LEAF) and Green Key. FEE operates worldwide and currently has 92 member organisations (NGOs) in 76 countries.

The charity delivered child protection training and governance training (online, with assessment), reduced pricing for professional conferences and advisory services, emergency planning management, access to ECIS research, and funding (grants and fellowships). The charity launched a free global community platform for educators worldwide, as a public benefit.

The David Nott Foundation provides surgeons and medical professionals with the skills they need to provide relief and assistance in conflict and natural disaster zones around the world. As well as providing the best medical care, David Nott Foundation surgeons train local healthcare professionals; leaving a legacy of education and better health outcomes.

The GNDR's activities centre around the collaborative action in support of implementing the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) including the Views from the Frontline (VFL) initiative which produces reports of progress. The HFA was adopted in 2005 at the World Conference on Disaster Reduction held in Hyogo, Japan, to substantially reduce the loss of lives and livelihoods caused by disasters.

REDRESS is a human rights organisation that helps torture survivors obtain justice and reparation. REDRESS works with survivors to help restore their dignity and to make torturers accountable. We seek a variety of remedies, including restitution, compensation, rehabilitation, satisfaction and guarantees of non-repetition.

Seafarers UK is a charity that helps people in the maritime community, by providing vital funding to support seafarers in need and their families and to those in education or training who are preparing to work or serve at Sea. We do this by giving money to organisations and projects that make a real difference to people's lives.

THE HUMAN DIGNITY TRUST IS AN ORGANISATION OF INTERNATIONAL LAWYERS SUPPORTING LOCAL PARTNERS TOUPHOLD HUMAN RIGHTS AND CONSTITUTIONAL LAW IN COUNTRIES WHERE HOMOSEXUALITY IS CRIMINALISED.THE TRUST PROVIDES PRO BONO TECHNICAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND ADVISORY SERVICES AT THE REQUEST OF, AND IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL ACTIVISTS, THEIR LAWYERS AND OTHER HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS.

VERTIC is an independent, non-profit making, non-governmental organisation. Its mission is to promote effective and efficient verification as a means of ensuring confidence in the implementation of international agreements and intra-national agreements with international involvement.

Computer Aid International works with education, health and other non-profit organisations in developing countries to improve the effectiveness of their development interventions through IT. By providing low-cost equipment and software, and working with partners to provide training and support, we aim to reduce poverty through cost-effective, practical and locally relevant IT solutions.

The Kaleidoscope Trust works to advance the human rights of LGBT people in countries where they lack their equal rights, particularly in the Commonwealth. We do this by listening, amplifying and communicating their voices to a wider audience to persuade public and political opinion and work as a catalyst for meaningful change to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
