Pragya enables sustainable development for the poorest, most neglected communities in remote and marginal societies, in a way that preserves and promotes local cultures and fragile ecosystems. Our grassroots programmes include: food, agriculture and rural livelihoods; conservation and renewable energy; education; empowering women and minorities; health, safe water and sanitation; and disasters.

Child Rescue Nepal, formally the Esther Benjamins Trust, cares for children rescued from trafficking and slavery. It provides care and rehabilitation to children unable to return to their families and ongoing support to reunited families. Vocational & life skills training are also provided for older children.It also prevents trafficking by strengthening schools and educating communities.

The charity provides benefit to serving members of the Brigade of Gurkhas and their families. Key activities: welfare and well being, education and training, medical, recreational facilities and improvement of conditions in theatres of operations

Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) Limited is a charity working to improve the lives of women and girls through its programme work. UMNST is an independent Christian charity focusing on addressing poverty primarily in Nepal by in particular, but not solely, promoting the charitable purposes of United Mission to Nepal an INGO that has worked only in Nepal for over sixty years to alleviate poverty, and its 50+ Nepali registered partner organisations and its two hospitals.

Lectures and retreats are held on a regular basis at the centre. The meditation room is used for daily services, and for private prayer and contemplation. The bookshop has a large stock of books on Vedanta and related subjects. The centre provides support for the philanthropic work of other Ramakrishna Math and Mission centres.

Free The Wild endeavours to stop the suffering of wild animals in captivity and educate global communities on the importance in sustaining wildlife. We aim to move mistreated animals into sanctuaries or rehabilitate them for release into the wild. The charity owns Lindholme Hall Estate. It hosts Buddhist seminars, study groups, daily meditation sessions, and special practice days. The MondoChallenge Foundation works with local communities in developing countries to provide hands-on support at grassroots level. The Foundation supports education for adults and children in Nepal, NE Indian Himalayas, Uganda and The Gambia, and livelihoods programmes, particularly in Tanzania where we help women to set up small businesses.
