Global Action UK exists to meet the holistic needs of individuals and communities around the world through evangelism, training Christian leaders, and running compassion projects. Development Nepal works in the Sunsari district of Nepal to alleviate poverty. It works to give the poorest communities and individuals improved access to essential resources and opportunities, and increased ability to make choices and influence change.

The charity exists to administer donations received from friends and supporters of the late Tom Hughes to maintain his home in Nepal and to continue his work relieving the needs of orphaned and disabled children by providing them with accommodation and education until they are able to make their own way in the world.

The Simpson Scholarship Fund was set up to provide scholarships to ACCA students. Help Rural Nepal raises funds in the UK to support health and education projects. Our main focus has been in the remote area of Dhading district, west of Kathmandu. We have assisted several schools by providing books, computers, solar panels, volunteer and permanent teaching staff. Our health programme supports individual cases, health camps, and providing medical equipment.

Fund Raising to Provide Educational Support Services to Street Children in Nepal

We work with local primary school teachers and children aged 5 to7 years old in Tanzania and Nepal. Through inservice, we model and demonstrate good maths teaching methods and strategies to teachers. Our aim is to provide training in the use of manipulatives in maths in order to strengthen teacher knowledge, understanding and teaching of the base ten number system and place value concepts.

Sponsorship of underpriviledged children in a Nepalese school, enabling them access to school when they may be taken away to work for the family income.
