We present, each year, a series of chamber music concerts given by artists of international reputation.

We organise the activities of 1 paid Chaplain Team Leader and 21 Voluntary Chaplains who a) engage directly with people in places of work, b) work collaboratively with ministries in other sectors, with local churches and with other agencies. c) represent to those in authority, peoples' experience and perception of work, and raise questions with those who make decisions. To promote the relief of sickness, disability and poverty for young persons under the age of 18 with a view to improving the quality of life for such persons. The Trust will primarily focus it's activities in South Wales, Newcastle-upon-Tyne & the North East, the Algarve region in Portugal or other locations as deemed appropriate by the Trustees.

The name of the congregation is German speaking Lutheran Congregation Newcastle upon Tyne. The purpose of the charity is the promotion of the Christian religion. We are a Christian, evangelical fellowship serving the local community with strong ties abroad especially in Togo, Mozambique and Madagascar. Although our membership tends to be elderly, we are very active in local outreaches and support for worth-while causes, especially connected to spiritual and matters of well-being.

The North East Trust for Aphasia supports people in the North East who have aphasia. Aphasia is a communication problem, often following stroke, which can affect an adult's ability to speak, read, write and understand other people. It can have devastating effects on peoples' lifes. NETA has set up a Support Centre for people with aphasia which offers support via communication and project groups.
