TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING FOR THE EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF STUDENTS FROM ILAVALAI AND NEIGHBOURING VILLAGES SUCH AS PADERTHERUPU, SILLALAI, MATHAGAL THROUGH ST HENRY'S COLLEGE (SHC) ILAVALAI, SRI LANKA BY ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION, EQUIPMENT, PREMISES AND OTHER ITEMS AT THE COLLEGE WHICH WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE PROVIDED OUT OF STATUTORY FUNDS.

The principal activity is Karate and fitness including bike riding and football activities to raise awareness of keeping a healthy living lifestyle by doing regular sporting activities. These activities were not sponsored. Trustees managed to give some contribution toward the realisation of the project. The attendance was great over 110 kids to place and directly benefited from this project.

The activities of the charities are:(A) Advancing in life and helping young people by developing their Skills, Capacities and Capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals.(B) Advancing Education;(C) Preserving and protecting good mental and physical Health;(D) Relieving Unemployment; and

Brookfield Association is the Parent/Teachers Association for Brookfield House Special school. The school looks after children aged 3-19 with a wide range of physical disabilities, learning disabilities, complex medical needs & hearing impairments. We raise funds to enhance the children's education by putting on events that are accessible to them and raising awareness within the community.

We express our Christian values through public worship; small groups meeting in people's homes for prayer, bible study and mutual support; pastoral care; encouraging and supporting our members to take part in social action and mission according to their God given gifts and opportunities; relationships with and support of other churches and groups. Our meetings are open to all who wish to join us.

The relief of poverty and assistance of homeless people in need in Hackney, Stratford and Nigeria who suffers the effect of homelessness as determined by the trustees in particular by the following means:a) supplying them with food, clothing and related supportb) providing assistance and advice to like-minded charitable groups

We offer a range of accredited Parenting Skills courses in schools, Children's Centres and community setting to families. We also provide training to voluntary and statuatory agencies in facilitation skills, and working with parents and their children. Our courses are accredited with the Open College Network London and range from Entry Level to Level Three.

East London Connect is a registered charity(Charity Number 1175537) helping pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and ethnic minorities into Russell group universities. We also run career day/employability sessions to prepare pupils for successful careers.
