The main aim of the cylch is to provide a happy, friendly atmosphere in which children learn through the medium of Welsh. Language development is nurtured by games, stories, and songs that all feature prominently in each session of the Cylch.

Our main purpose is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination.Activities include:regular public worship, prayer, teaching;baptism;Communion at least once a month;evangelism;the teaching, and inclusion of young people;education/training for Christian and community service;giving pastoral care;supporting charitable social action.

The charity is a Wheelchair Rugby team operating in the South Wales area. The charity provides an environment for people with varying dissabilities to play the sport of wheelchair rugby.

Cylch Meithrin Brynglas provides childcare for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years of age through the medium of Welsh. We are in a building attached to Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Teyrnon in the city of Newport, South Wales. We are passionate about giving pre-school children the opportunity to receive high quality play opportunities and learning through the medium of Welsh.

Supporting the homeless and vulnerable Fundraising

We are seeing people from all walks of life becoming homeless. It?s not just addiction that's a major factor to homelessness but also the current economic climate.We have decided to not to wait till people become homeless but to provide a way for someone to break free of their situation and gain control.We want to provide a place that someone can call home and show them the way to freedom.

Gwent Parent Carer Network supports parent carers across the Gwent region of South Wales. We provide online support services through peer-to-peer mediated activities, face-to-face respite workshops and family activities and events throughout the year. We also work in partnership with other third sector and statutory organisations, signposting parent carers to their services.

To provide emotional support for people in distress or despair or who are suicidal.

Gwent YFC run competitions/events and charity fundraisers throughout the year. The organisation runs to support young people between 10 - 27 years of age. We offer support and guidance to all our members and help them gain the life skills they require. We operate in the area of Gwent where we have 6 clubs, our competitions then go onto Wales YFC and National Level.

Provision of accommodation to older persons in the Newport area.

The Society arranges a folk festival in the grounds of Tredegar House, Newport, normally on one weekend in May every year

Worship services, Faith counselling: encouraging/ counselling who are situated in spiritual, psychological and physical difficulties. Visiting the wounded and ones who are weak spiritually, psychologically and physically for the sake of hearing their difficulties, and advising them with the bible message regularly.

We are a church charity that exists for the advancement of the Christian Faith and the worship of God in the area of Monmouth and surrounding areas, including the preaching of the Christian gospel and teaching of Christian doctrine. Also the relief of those in need and supporting other organisations that work for similar goals whether in the UK or overseas.

The Foundation makes donations to local organisations and groups and will not consider applications to support an individuals activities. The Foundation is happy to receive applications from all walks of life.

To Develop the economic,social and personal capacity and skills of the immediate Stow Hill Community in Newport and wider environs in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs to participate more fully in society. The organisation will help equip people with skills and competences , develop individual potential and help establish social enterprise.

Support for the Newport Medieval Ship Project

Marshfield Village Hall is a fully central heated hall with all facilities for hire, for the use of family functions, training and social events. With access to grass sports pitches, changing rooms with showers, a large hall with separate meeting rooms and a well equipped kitchen, Marshfield Village Hall can cater for most events including parties, clubs, public and private meetings.

RASCAL is a group made up of volunteers, that work in partnership with the communities First team and other service providers to help improve the lives of Somerton residents. The Centre delivers: GP Referral, Youth Clubs, boxing sessions, Dancing, Drama, Parenting groups, Bingo, PCSO Surgery, Food Co-op, community cafe, Poker, workshops, IT courses, sporting and youth sessions.
