Ipswich Gilbert & Sullivan Society is a musical group which performs charity fund-raising concerts during the summer months across Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex, with a mixed repertoire ranging from classical music and excerpts from G&S operettas to folk, pop and songs from the musicals. In the autumn of each year the Society puts on a fully staged production of one of the G & S operettas.

As a Trustee Body for the Pilling Park Community Association we work closely with the needs and voices of the local community and beyond. The centre is for local groups and runs activites for all ages. The centre is developing as a multi- use, safe family friendly centre. Development work is planned by the trustees and they seek funds to continue to to enhance the centre and make it sustainable.

The objectives and aims of the charity are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants, in particular but not exclusively the youth, of Heacham in the county of Norfolk and the immediate neighbourhood, without distinction, and, but not necessarily, in association or conjunction with voluntary and other organisations with the same intent.

We are one of the nations Men's Shed part of UKMSA, to provide a workshop and social centre particularly for but not exclusively for men, to help maintain their health and wellbeing, make new friends and enjoy working together on a range of projects, and assist the local community in practical ways whenever possible.
