To promote and advance the education of the public in the cultivation ,appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts.To further these aims we arrange lectures for members of the society,visits to houses,museums and collections and form study groups on areas of specific interest.We support disadvantaged children and young people in the area to help them access the arts.

We aim to supply a hall with the usual facilites for any local group to use, at present we are used be the local W.I. Society, the Mattishall Society, Voga Classes, Local Youth club meetings, Keep Fit and other exercise lessons, The Local Parish Council meetings.The hall is available for parties and weddings.The Playing field supports .the Village , Cricket and Bowls Clubs

Advancement of the Orthodox Christian Faith through provision of a church, liturgical worship, support for Orthodox educational activities, and cooperation with the wider Orthodox community. Pastoral care and response to enquirers are provided by clergy (unpaid) in conjunction with the charity.

Maintenance and running of Bunwell Parish Church

Assist needy and infirm ladies over the age of 60 and also organisations, including Charities, which also provide assistance for such needy and infirm ladies in the Norwich and Sheringham areas.

Provide facilities for leisure,sport,education,children's area,and youth activity area for the Parish of Wiggenhall St.Mary Magdalen and surrounding area in Norfolk

We are raising money to enable us to commission a memorial in Norfolk to the 97 British soldiers massacred at Le Paradis on 27 May 1940, to maintain said memorial and to support other memorials to the Le Paradis Massacre as deemed appropriate by the Trustees.

Collections for Rotary Charities

We are open one morning a week during termtime looking at themes relating to the Christian faith with Bible-based teaching. Last year the teaching focused on End Times and the Book of Isaiah. We run regular prayer groups, and occasional prayer schools/day conferences, plus prayer for individuals. Our director has recently started online teaching courses on such subjects as The Covenants.

Provide Scouting activities for children aged 6 - 14 1/2 years old.

We aim to support the teaching of reading in schools in Norfolk by providing extra opportunities for the children to practise and consolidate skills learnt in the classroom.We will train and finance DBS checks for Reading Support Volunteers who will regularly listen to children read on aone-to-one basis in schools.In addition, we can provide training for existing volunteers in local schools.

Reliving hardship or distress of persons resident in the Parish of Kelling and maintaining and protecting Kelling Heath

To provide residence of almspeople in the almshouses belonging to the charity. Surplus income may also be used for the benefit of elderly persons who are in conditions of need and resident in the area of benefit. Income obtained from the letting of land belonging to the charity.

To supply affordable after school sporting and fitness activities in Suffolk and rural areas. To help underprivileged children and young adults and their families re-leave the financial burden for such activities. Activities include: Archery, Karate, Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts

To organise and run an annual festival for music dance and speech, to give amateurs the opportunity to perform in public and have the opportunity to be invigilated by professionals to increase their confidence and have the chance to see and hear other performers.

Active Steam Engine Museum and Educational Facility preserving and promoting the historic industrial past of the Charles Burrell Company of Thetford in Norfolk. 100% run by volunteers and financed from grants and donations and also the revenue generated from an in house shop, cafe and outside demonstrations of our steam traction engines.

It is a village hall used by about twenty different organisations for social, educational and sporting activities for all ages.

The object of this charity is to maintain, repair, renew, preserve and improve for the benefit of the public the fabric of the Church of St. James at Castle Acre, its fixtures, fittings, furniture and equipment.

Provide regular weekly group support and information to people living with dementia and their carer within the Thetford & District area

Anyone living in Sutton who is suffering hardship or real financial need. Plus the trust will consider a donation to anything that will benefit all in the village, such as a donation to the fund to raise monies for a defibrillator.
