THE PROVISION OF A COMMUNITY LIBRARY SERVICE, TOGETHER WITH ADDITIONAL FACILITIES. TO ENCOURAGE, NURTURE AND ASSIST IN THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY IN 'LEARNING' AS A LEISURE ACTIVITY.TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE RESIDENTS OF SCARTHO AND SURROUNDING AREAS, IN A COMMON EFFORT TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT AND WELFARE

Establish, maintain & manage a Community Centre (the Centre) to benefit the inhabitants of Scartho & it's neighbourhood.Provide facilities, in the interest of social welfare, for recreation & leisure time occupation with the aim of improving the conditions of life for those inhabitants.Associate local inhabitant, local authorities, voluntary & other organisations to achieve the above ends.

To advance the Christian religion through the Christian gospels. To promote any general charitable purpose or institution for the benefit of the inhabitants in the area of benefit.

The Club meets twice a month to plan fund raising projects, and also to consider and make charitable donations to worthy causes locally ,nationally,. All decisions are made in open meeting which are properly recorded. The President and the Trustees of the Club are all Club members and ensure that the constitution of the Club is adhered to in every respect by regularly attending Club meetings.

Feed the Community operates food bank in an area of Grimsby that has high unemployment and lots of low income families. We fundraise to purchase store cupboard basics and work with local supermarkets, collecting unsold but still perfectly edible food, providing people in need, sufficient food to last 3-4 days. Each client is assessed on an individual basis and no one is turned away if in need.

To promote the advancement of the dramatic arts for the public benefit through the production and performance of live theatre in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN ENGINEERING THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF MODELS OF ENGINEERING, THE PROVISION OF TALKS, PUBLIC EXHIBITIONS, DEMONSTRATIONS AND BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR CONSTRUCTION, DEVELOPMENT AND RUNNING ENGINEERING MODELS

The provision of a volunteer driver and their car, providing a service to anyone needing transport to attend medical appointments when there is no public transport service available or they are unable to physically access it.

11TH GRIMSBY (ST. JAMES) SCOUT GROUP

The society seeks to promote the enjoyment and awareness of choral music by presenting public concerts.

The Charity is established to promote the public knowledge and appreciation of good choral and other music by means of public performance.

Provide chamber music concerts given by professional artists for the surrounding area.

To help serving and retired members of Humberside Police who are in financial difficulty by providing a loan/grant. Grants can also be provied on an altruistic basis is it would help the aforementioned to deal with a particularly difficult time in their lives. The Fund is largely made up of subscriptions from members. Donations by private and public bodies are also very welcome.

Scouting activities, including camping, badgework, games, arts and crafts.

The charity makes donations to other charities & organisations for general charitable purposes. Please do not send requests by email.

Aiding the wellbeing of babies and mothers in the special care baby unit of the the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, by provision of equipment and materials that otherwise may not be available.

PROVIDE A HYDROTHERAPY POOL FOR SEVERLY DISABLED CHILDREN

The societies primary purpose is to promote and advance issues about agriculture and farming by organising a range of events throughout the year. The centrepiece of its activities is the Annual Show which attracts about 5,000 people from Scunthorpe, Doncaster and the Isle of Axholme

We organise an annual sponsored swimming event in Scunthorpe, the cost of which is covered by corporate sponsors. All monies raised by the swimmers are made available for local community organisations and charities to apply for, the only proviso is that the causes must benefit people living in North Lincolnshire. All applications are vetted by a panel who decide which are supported.

Running support groups for families affected by disability.

Provision of financial assistance for the priests of the Nottingham Diocese in respect of glasses, hearing and dental requirements

we are a Brass Band who provides concerts and takes parts in contest. for the enjoyment of both the band members and the public
