STEPNEY BANK STABLES (SBS) IS AN INNER - CITY RIDING SCHOOL AND CHILDREN'S SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT LOCATED IN NEWCASTLE. OUR MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE, AGED 8 -18, THROUGH INTERACTIONS WITH HORSES. SBS PROVIDES RIDING, ACTIVITIES AND SPECIFICALLY CHOSEN WORKSHOPS WHICH ENABLE YOUNG PEOPLE TO LEARN AND DEVELOP THE NECESSARY LIFE SKILLS TO BECOME THE VERY BEST THEY CAN BE.

NERS supports and is committed to the work of the Regional Refugee Forum and the North East Strategic Migration Partnership. Ners highlights the need to carry out further research in areas of communities' relations and issues of citizenship and the feeling of belonging. Gateshead Young Womens Outreach Project has been running over 30 years. We work with young women and young mothers inGatesheadaged 11-19yrs. We support, guide young women through crisis in their lives.These Crises can be finding out that they are pregnant, problems or struggling in schools, mental health issues, rape, self harm, lack of confidence and self belief, violence or sexual exploitation

Recyke y' Bike's core activity is refurbishing bicycles, donated largely by the public, by a team of enthusiastic volunteers and paid mechanics. Some are sold to raise funds, others are given away as community referral bikes, with those in the worst condition being recycled and all useable parts saved. We also train people in cycling and bike maintenance skills.
