The charity runs a programme of meditation classes and buddhist teachings, open to everyone, in Keighley and local towns. The charity also has a World Peace Cafe at its Keighley centre to help further promote its activities. A centre in Burnley is now open to the public 2 Days per week for classes and has a small cafe and shop facility and has purchased a property which is currently renovating

St Mary's is a centre of worship for the villages of Embsay and Eastby. The members of St Mary's also lead and participate in a varied range of secular activities in the wider community. St Mary's church is a Grade 2 listed building and the maintenance and sharing of our heritage with local people and visitors is an active part of this charity's role.

The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to improve the health and well being of the people of Stockton, Thornaby and surrounding areas, through the provision of education, training and workshops in nutrition and healthy cookery.

Operation of a library & community hub to further or benefit the residents of Norton on Derwent & surrounding areas to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

During the year a wide range of activities were undertaken including Theatre Studies resentations, Theatre visits, curriculum area visits including a visit to Liverpool and the annual trip to Belgium to Ypres and the Comme

To provide a community based volunteer transport service in Tadcaster and surrounding area to those who, by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, cannot conveniently use other publically provided transport services.

We are a group of 45 unpaid volunteers who provide search and rescue services to people and animals who find themselves in difficulty, mainly in the countryside. We are available all day every day, whatever the weather. An Operational Support Group aid the Search and Rescue members. We depend on donations and fundraising. We assist both the Police and the Ambulance Service and other services.

The Trust provides short stay facilities for disabled persons and their carers,visiting the Yorkshire Dales, without discrimination as to race, gender, age or creed. It has as a priority the encouragement of independence for the disabled person.

Management of the village hall and sports field. Fund raising for the costs of operation & maintenance. Support for all the village organisations and in particular those groups using the hall & sports field.

The organisation rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes cats in need across North and East Yorkshire, while educating the public on feline welfare via its website, social media channels, and seasonal fundraising events.

Lollipop provides regular free activities for families of children & young people with any degree of hearing loss. Through such activities families have the opportunity to meet & build friendships with others, with whom they share their experience of deafness. Activities also encourage members to realise their true potential & in doing so build confidence, raise self esteem & develop self identity

Supplying football facilities, equipment and coaching to boys and girls ages 6 to 17 years, including sportability

Teaching, development and practice of swimming, open water swimming and water safety (and where appropriate, competing), whether as a sport, leisure pastime or for physical health or mental wellbeing. York Pride raises awareness of LGBT issues by promoting and staging events,taking part in campaigning and commentary in the media, and providing support to other LGBT charities and voluntary organisations.
