We are a multi purpose charity that exists for the benefit of residents of the Edgehill Estate. We run a number of projects on the Estate including; Ofsted registered Childcare, a community cafe and an older people's social club

We raise money;-1,To support charitable organisations and or good causes in our locality2.To provide relief for disasters as they occur on a worldwide basis3,To advance the education of selected young people in our locality4.To support the provision of medical and health services in developing countries

Providing affordable rented accommodation. Allocation - priority given to Hinderwell Parish residents.

The principal activity of the Foundation is to provide bursaries and other financial support to current and prospective pupils of Ashville College who would otherwise be unable to attend the College.

THE RELIEF OF THE SICK AND ELDERLY RESIDENTS AT CONNAUGHT COURT AND THE FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS BY THE RECEIPT OF DONATIONS AND BY FUND RAISING EVENTS, ALLOWING FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE USE OF THE RESIDENTS AND THE SUPPORT OF THE DAILY ACTIVITIES OF THE RESIDENTS

Provide a pleasant secure and cheap location for village community groups to meet and conduct their activities. Groups using the hall include beavers, cubs, scouts, guides, rainbows, brownies, senior citizens, whist, luncheon club, mothers and toddlers, exercise class, badminton, craft group, kick boxing, and phisiotherapy.

The object of the charity is to promote agriculture and horticulture for the public benefit by holding an annual show within the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, and in particular but not exclusively the Borrowby and Knayton areas of the district.

Regular giving to a variety of charities providing help to people in this country and those providing overseas aid, supporting children in orphanages(paying for their schooling and general living expenses) and missionaries who are working in Africa and India. We hold weekly church meetings and serve as a venue for inter-church activities in the local area.

The object of this church is to promote Spiritual Healing and the public observance and teaching of the religious philosophy of Spiritualism having regard for the Seven Principals.

The Besom in York seeks to work for the Relief of Poverty,Suffering,Sickness and Distress in York.It is a receiving and giving-out service for those who want to prayerfully give their time,money,products or resources for the benefit of those in the Community who do not have the resources to provide for their own essential needs.

The provision of regular public acts of worship open to members of the church and non-members alike. The provision of sacred for prayer and contemplation. The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas financially.

Hiring out of Village Hall for recreational, leisure, educational, etc activities, to individuals or groups mainly, but not necessarily, in the trust area (Kirk Deighton and surrounding areas).

Animals in Reach works with children and young people who are at risk of exclusion from education or struggling to attend through emotionally based school avoidance. Animals in Reach also works with disabled adults and adults with mental health difficulties. This includes but not exclusively, providing therapeutic and educational support through working with animals, horticulture and crafts.

Grants for education purposes

To apply income received to the restoration, repair and upkeep of the fabric of Selby Abbey or to the restoration, modification and maintenance of the organ of Selby Abbey.

Provision and use of the former school premises as a community facility and benefit for the villagers of Wigglesworth

To provide library and information services for adults and children. We also provide access to computers,the internet and printers/photocopier.

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Wigginton and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or in the interests of social welfare, with the objective of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants

To help the residents of Harrogate by ensuring our premises are available to as many user groups as possible, to ensure those wishing to take part in a group activity or personal hobby are not denied access to the amenties on offer. To date we have 22 regular user groups.

SENSES supports families of pre-school children with additional learning, physical or medical needs in Scarborough and the surrounding area. Qualified and experienced staff run two weekly toddler groups, one in central Scarborough and one in Eastfield. Both provide multi-sensory experiences as well as the opportunity for parent-to-parent supportive relationships to develop.

We provide long term rental homes and ongoing support to victims of human trafficking and/or modern slavery. The homes currently used by the charity are based in Yorkshire, UK.
