GHRC Board manages and maintains the Village Hall and playing field. The charity organises entertainment and recreational opportunities throughout the year, often working with other local groups.

The Tilehouse Trust aims to help charities and projects within Yorkshire which work to provide an experience of welcome to refugees and people seeking asylum in this country, and which give them support, whether material, creative or emotional, in living and flourishing here.

CARE OF AND RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND RE - HOME OF ABANDONED, NEGLECTED OR ABUSED GUINEA PIGS. GIVE SANCTUARY FOR THOSE DEEMED UNSUITABLE FOR REHOME DUE TO AGE, ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY. PROMOTE IMPROVED CARE AND WELFARE OF SMALL ANIMALS VIA EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. PROVIDE FREE ADVICE AND INFORMATION FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY HOLDING AND ATTENDING PUBLIC EVENTS TO IMPROVE ANIMAL WELFARE.

The objective of the Charity is to maintain the Village Hall for the communal benefit of the inhabitants of the Village and its surrounds

The charity is part of the scouting movement. It provides group activities for girls and boys - including experiences not always available in other parts of their lives. New skills are learned and leadership qualities encouraged.

We hold regular services which are open to the public and include teaching and Holy Communion. Other sacraments (baptisms, weddings, funerals) are available on request. Frequent discussion groups take place in person and on video. We engage in University activities directed to students, and participate in Churches Together. We raise money to support our diocese, local, and international charities.

The main purpose of the WI organisation is to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national and international, in music, drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home eco.

We seek to further the understanding and appreciation of choral music with an emphasis on male voices. We offer concerts to support othercharities in raising funds whilst, at the same time, bringing a wider audience to the experience of listening to Male Voice choirs. We join with other Male Voice choirs throughout our region to enhance the quality of the music and increase membership.

The Village Hall is used as a community centre by the Parish Council, Pilates, Yoga and other activities. It is also used as a Polling Station when needed. The hall has a fully equipped kitchen, disabled toilet and access, the floor is carpeted and there is a good heating system, upgrading the hall is ongoing.The condition of the roof continues to cause concern.

The Trustees have determined that their priorities for funding; The Dennis Mason-Jones Award, The Bedford Scholarship and Academic Awards (tertiary & secondary education). There remain funds available for grants and support to be dispersed as the Society sees fit and subject to satisfying the objects of the society in the areas of Social and Education support of Architectural and urban design.

LEEDS BAROQUE PERFORMS MUSIC OF THE BAROQUE ERA USING PERIOD INSTRUMENTS AND HISTORICAL PERFORMING PRACTICES. IT SEEKS TO BALANCE ITS PROGRAMMING BETWEEN WELL KNOWN WORKS (ESPECIALLY THE WORKS OF PURCELL, HANDEL AND BACH) AND THOSE THAT ARE RARELY PERFORMED, OR NEWLY EDITED BY LEADING SCHOLARS OR BY RESEARCH STUDENTS.

The Trust principally helps young, elderly, infirm and disabled people and individuals or organisations concerned with such people, based in the City of York or the immediate area.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential; as individuals and as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. They receive age appropriate activities, including outdoor, adventure and nights away whilst also being in a safe environment.

We are a Friend's group of parents, teachers & local community volunteers which aim to raise additional funds to support the wellbeing and enrichment of the children of Poppleton Ousebank Primary School. We host a wide range of events such as Christmas fairs, coffee days, lottery and right through to our main event, POPFEST which takes place in the summer.

A charity for education and relief of poverty for the village of Wath, North Yorkshire. Aimed at the young and the elderly it makes grants to individuals and organisations and provides village facilities for the people of the parish of Wath.
