The activities of the charity are twofold - a) the advancement of education of pupils in the School - Clause 2 of our Constitution and/or b) public benefit being the support on an annual basis of a nominated charity

TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF A PLAYING FIELD AND FOR OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF AND VISITORS TO LONG PRESTON.

The Parochial Church Council promotes the whole mission of St Mary's, a Church of England parish church in the Diocese of York, serving God and our community in the local parish of Riccall and surrounding area.

Village Institute with rooms (main hall and small meeting room) for hire, along with kitchen.Snooker Club, with full sized table in separate room, also operates.Other clubs (with equipment provided by the Institute) which operate are: Indoor Bowls and Table Tennis.

Provision of sports facilities for football, cricket and archery as well as a location for Ebor model railways to meet

The object of the CIO is to promote community participation in healthy recreation through the provision of a sports pavilion and associated sports fields in Thornton Dale for the use of the cricket club, football club and other clubs capable of promoting healthy recreation.

Horticultural & agricultural society.

The Charity provides the facilities, resources, administration and organisational ability to run an annual agricultural show in Bilsdale, North Yorkshire. The show provides residents and visitors to the dale with activities, demonstrations and advice regarding traditional farming, country skills and environmental issues pertaining to upland rural life in the North Yorkshire Moor National Park.

The charity's object, as stated in its governing document, is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for swimming.

Provide village hall facilities to surrounding community

Providing and maintaining a cricket club facility and children's recreation play area in the village of Rainton, North Yorkshire

The North Yorkshire Moors Association carries out activities which further the objectives of the North York Moors National Park, principally conservation of the natural environment and cultural heritage.

Community activities/social events

The charity operates from Frazer House 23 Market Place Knaresborough we are a meeting room mainly for the elderly to visit whilst out shopping to drop in for a cup of tea/coffee etc and a biscuit to sit and chat and read the daily papers runentirely by volunteers.

To provide free access for the general public to view The Pannett Art Gallery collection.

FUND RAISING FOR RIVERSIDE SCHOOL AND ASSOCIATED SCHOOL RELATED ACTIVITIES

As a committee we meet once a month & our aim is to maintain the village hall & provide a meeting place for the community where all age groups, religious, ethnic groups & those with disabilities can enjoy a varied selection of activities.

TEACHING CLASSES IN SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING IN YORK, NORTH YORKSHIRE & EAST YORKSHIRE

The provision and upkeep of land and facilities in Appleton Wiske for general recreational and sporting use primarily for inhabitants of the local area

Provides advice when requested by landowners and will comment on developments, generally through the planning process. It will also continue to comment on strategic planning issues and seek to support the interests of the countryside by promoting the great value of fragile landscape in the Parishes of Fishlake, Fenwick and Sykehouse.

To make small awards to expupils towards their further education.To administer the land and buildings owned by nthe Foundation.To insure the buildings owned by the Foundation.To provide financial support for the school's capital projects.
