Vocal Expressions is a ladies choir, based in the Holme Valley, West Yorkshire. It meets its objectives through public concerts, singing at other charities' events, & at weddings. The choir's varied repertoire includes traditional & folk songs; classical and religious music and songs from musical shows.

We operate throughout Yorkshire. Currently we have the following subgroups: Health and Wellbeing, Hate Crime, Bisexual, Older People, Education & Young People and Trans. These groups aim to forward the charitable objects via advocacy, support groups, training and fostering a sentiment of equality in Yorkshire.

HIRING OF VILLAGE HALL FOR VARIOUS ACITIVITIES FROM CHILDREN'S PARTIES, CONCERTS, CRAFT FAIRS, SPORTS, evening classes and educational programmes ETC

The British Music Society of York puts on six Chamber Music Concerts each year in the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall at the University of York. Our purpose is to bring chamber music to as wide an audience as possible and to this end we offer annual subscription for students and young people at only £3.67 per concert and for adults at only £10.75 per concert.

Faith Ministries Rwanda is a charity set up to support Christian Mission and Poverty Relief in Rwanda. It may also be used in other parts of sub-Saharan Africa. It works principally through supporting Charles and Juliet Semwaga in their work in Rwanda

Conduct Scouting activities for children and young people.

Providing education, training, and vocational activities, to its membership, who are individuals no longer in full time employment.

FUNDRAISING FOR PANNAL PRIMARY SCHOOL THROUGH VARIOUS EVENTS, WHICH INCLUDE SUMMER AND CHRISTMAS FAYRES, FILM NIGHT, DISCOS, SUMMER BALL AND SELLING BUNS EVERY FRIDAY.

The Robinson Institute is a community hall, managed by trustees, with the primary objective of serving the community of Glaisdale and the Esk Valley.

Weekly club meetings both educational and social

Mainstay works with vulnerable adults who have mental health issues. Mainstay works to raise awareness about mental health issues and provides community hub social support and advice, mentoring, short courses, skills for work, counselling services to enable service users to engage with their community. Mainstay works with people to build stronger communities.

The study and performance of the joint and individual works of Sir W S Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such works by means of public performance.

Village Hall activities

Village Hall providing a venue for Playgroups/toddlers and various user groups such as Yorkshire Countrywomens Association, Gardening Club and Parish Council meeting place etc. We also cater for private events such as children's birthday parties, village quizzes and other entertainment and a yearly memorial for the airmen of the RAF and Canadian airforces lost from our local airfield during WW2.

To establish and run a village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Eskdaleside cum Ugglebarnby. The provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities and for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Administration and management of property and assets previously representing the Yorebridge Grammar School,Askrigg, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, and the application of income for educational purposes within the defined area of benefit.

Supporting residents, local charities and voluntary and community organisations through the provision of small grants for the relief of sickness, poverty, the advancement of education and improved quality of life.

Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The charity operates for the purposes of assisting people with disabilities, through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical,mental and spiritual capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved

Staxton Village is the non profit making village hall in Staxton & Wilerby, where community activities for all age groups can take part. the hall is for anyone to hire for community activities. We have regular old time dancing for the retired, and we provide a monthly two course lunch, and a monthly film show. The hall is maintained to a very high level and is admired by all visitors.

The objects are, for the public benefit:1 to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and the appreciation and enjoyment of music by any means the Trustees see fit, including the provision of rehearsal facilities, the presentation of public concerts and recitals and other musical activities2 to further such exclusively charitable purposes as the Trustees shall think fit.
