Care and Education of Under Fives

To promote art for the benefit of the public by the establishment and maintenance of an art Gallery and to advance the education of the public in the subject of art.The organisation provides a centre for creativity with a arts programme for the communities of Northampton and beyond to participate in a range of activities/ experiences including exhibitions, performances, film, community events.

TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF NORTHAMPTON EAST AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THOSE WHO ARE ECONOMICALLY OR SOCIALLY DISADVANTAGED, CHILDREN, THE ELDERLY AND THE DISABLED, BY PROVIDING FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

The objects of the CIO are for the benefit of the public,(a) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement (b) to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services(c) to advance education in the United Kingdom or the World as the Church Council from time to time may think fit

TO ADVANCE IN LIFE & RELIEVE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE. DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS & CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY AS MATURE, RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. ADULT EDUCATION/TRAINING TO ENLIVEN LEARNING, INSPIRE FULL PARTICIPATION, BUILD GROUP COHESION & DEVELOP SAFE ENVIRONMENTS WHICH ENABLE AUTHENTIC COMMUNICATION.

We provide local childcare for the under 5's in a village location.

Based in Wollaston, we offer early years education and out of school facilities to children from aged 2 yrs to 11 yrs.

The aim of the playgroup is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by; (a) offering appropriate play facilities and training courses, (b) ensuring that all children are offered opportunities regardless of their race, culture, religion, means or ability, (c) encouraging the study of the needs of children and their families in our local area.

The advancement, promotion & practice of the Hindu religion, in particular, but not exclusively, by the provision & maintenance of a Temple for the purposes of public religious worship & other religious charitable purpose; to improve social welfare; providing facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Spring Educational Society runs educational centers and weekend supplementary schools to support pupils with their mainstream education. Spring Education also organizes many educational events, parental conferences and cultural activities for pupils and parents from different ethnic backgrounds to raise awareness on various educational issues.

HOME-START NORTHAMPTON PROVIDES A UNIQUE SERVICE FOR FAMILIES LIVING IN THE BOROUGH OF NORTHAMPTON - RECRUITING AND TRAINING VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT PARENTS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AT HOME IN SITUATIONS AS DIVERSE AS ISOLATION, BEREAVEMENT, MULTIPLE BIRTHS, ILLNESS, DISABILITY OR WHO ARE JUST FINDING PARENTING A STRUGGLE. THEY PROVIDE NON-JUDGEMENTAL, PRACTICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

Second Time Around is a charity furniture restoration project that recycles unwanted or donated wooden furniture. Our vision is training and volunteering opportunities to promote social inclusion and independance for adults with learning disabilities.

Sports Aid eastern has a wide-ranging trust deed within the fields of education, disability and social welfare to:i. further the education of young people through the medium of sportii. encourage those with social and physical disadvantages to improve their lives through sportiii. enable those living in poverty to take advantage of the opportunities offered by sport

Church of England Parish Church

a) The provision of regular public acts of worship open to members of the church and non members alike.b) The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups.c) Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved.d) Taking religious assemblies in local schools.e) Promoting Christianity through events and services.

The aid of secular priests of the Diocese of Northampton who are permanently or temporarily incapacitated by old age, infirmity, illness or accident. This is carried out through the provision of grant and some accommodation.
