Pre-school sessional care

MADMAC provides a free, confidential and impartial advice service for the people of Melton Mowbray and neighbouring districts concerning money and debt. It provides a personalised package of care until financial freedom is gained encouraging the reduction and occurrence of future debt problems.

The charity is restricted to housing persons in need over 60 years of age who are regarded as poor and deserving persons of the middle class as defined in the will of Mrs Grundy establishing the Almshouses.

MOSQUE AND COMMUNITY CENTRESOCIAL CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, LANGUAGE CLASSES AND RELIGIOUS STUDIES

We hold meetings in Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough. We make our Meetings for Worship available to all and welcome those who come. We encourage all enquirers, and occasionally we run evening meetings to answer questions and provide more information. In addition there are opportunities to join bible study and discussion groups.

The object of the charity is to provide almshouses for poor men, not less than sixty years of age and of good character who are resident in the County of Northamptonshire and preferably in the Urban district of Rothwell, at the time of appointment. A total of ten almshouses are available to meet this object.

The principal activity of Christ Image Assembly, Northampton is to spread the good news of the kingdom of God, that is, forgiveness of sins, faith in our lord Jesus Christ and consequent peace with God and with others. It also encourages godly living as the basis for a successful life, provides education and training for people of all ages, cares for the elderly and supports families in need.

To promote and further education in and knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts of Opera, Ballet, Mime, Drama, Music and similar arts. A strong focus on youth involvement is supported with local schools offered reduced rates for the hiring of our facilities/equipment, our annual Summer School and continuous encouragement for students to play an active part in all aspects of the Trust

The advancement of education of the pupils at Wellingborough School through financial support and assistance of the school and/or wider educational initiatives projects and other associated activities, and by awarding scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at the school or at any university, college of education, or other institution of further education.

We aim to benefit disabled people by promoting services that facilitate independence in daily living and full integration into society with active participation.Our work involves a variety of projects, training and provision of information.

Receive donations from over 91 Lions Clubs in South Wales, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Rutland, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, parts of Wiltshire and Somerset and distribute the funds for Local, National and International charitable purposes.

TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING WOMEN IN PARTICULAR WIDOWED FROM AFRICAN BAME COMMUNITY IN THE NORTHAMPTON AND SURROUNDING AREAS FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED DUE TO THEIR CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES AND RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND SUPPORT AND MEET THE NEED OF THESE WOMEN WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED TO INTEGRATE INTO THE COMMUNITY.

The principal aim of the Charity is to provide support to encourage young adults from lower income backgrounds who are deterred by financial constraints from exploiting their potential by continuing in to higher education in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.The Charity also supports the promotion of science within the wider local community.

The Ford Britain Trust makes donations to undertakings concerned with the advancement of education and other charitable purposes beneficial to the community. Preference is given to organisations located in and working in areas where Ford Motor Company Limited has its present activities and a long standing association with local communities in the UK.

SERV OBN provides specialist training, access to dedicated fleet of fully expensed motorcycles, authority to operate within the scope of specific Service Level Agreements in place between NHS hospitals and SERV OBN, opportunity to have their advanced rider skills assessed by qualified personnel Thus members serve their community by providing a rapid response motorcycle courier service FOC to NHS

We are a self help group originally set up to offer advice, support and therapies to people with Multiple Sclerosis and their families in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area. The Centre now welcomes anyone who could benefit from our services. Our aim is to improve the life of anyone affected by MS or any other neurological condition. We also cater for people with sports injuries.

BrightSparks Arts provides creative opportunities for people living with mental health conditions in the regions of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire to enable them to build self esteem, develop skills and challenge stigma. BSA delivers workshops, projects, events, exhibitions and publications to showcase the work of participants, and provides advocacy and advice to organisations/ the public.

We distribute grants to charities in Northamptonshire that work to prevent and reduce homelessness and associated issues such as substance abuse and unemployment.

The provision of pre-school education to children aged over 2 and under 5 years of age.We also run an Out of Hours Club (September 2008) providing a breakfast club and after school club in the pre-school premises.

Early Years Education

We work with young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training, young people who are involved in gang related crime, knife crime and county-lines. Young/Older adults who consider themselves to be socially isolated, those with substance misuse and alcohol dependency. All people who have a learning disability or mental health illness or impairment and sexual exploitation or being groomed

For the public benefit facilitating access to, promoting, maintaining, improving and advancing education, positive mental health and well being and recreation in the arts by giving everyone the chance to access creative music making workshops and events no matter what age, ability or background by running open-access music workshops and events.
