We are a self help group originally set up to offer advice, support and therapies to people with Multiple Sclerosis and their families in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area. The Centre now welcomes anyone who could benefit from our services. Our aim is to improve the life of anyone affected by MS or any other neurological condition. We also cater for people with sports injuries.

The Trust, through the Revive Coffee, shop provides a meeting place for the people of Desborough and the sorrounding villagesIt aims to be a focus for community activities for all age groups

Pre-School Playgroup

Tansor Playgroup provides pre-school education for children aged from two years old to school age, for five mornings and five afternoons per week, during term times.

We are a local based playgroup offering sessions 5 days a week for children aged between 2yrs - 4yrs. we are open Mon, Tues, Weds,Thurs and Fri 9 - 3pm. We are Ofsted registered and a popular childcare setting for children in the local area. We have recently supported a large number of children transition to Primary School successfully.

THE SHUTLANGER VILLAGE HALL IS AVAILABLE FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC, CLUBS, SOCIETIES OR ORGANISATIONS IN THE LOCAL AREA FOR COMMUNITY-RELATED ACTIVITIES

The charity facilitates the operation of Community Church Northampton. The church community meets regularly for worship, community building and teaching. It is involved in a number of local community projects. The trust meets its charitable objectives of (inter alia) the advancement of Christianity, relief of those in need and advancement of education on the basis of Christian Principles.

Telephone supportline, advice, counselling, coaching, protective behaviours & referrals to other agencies, for people over 10 years who have suffered rape & any other form of sexual violence at any time of their lives, The aim is to help them to cope & recover from the aftermath & trauma of the crime (s). We offer training and consultancy to communities, voluntary groups and professionals.

The trust aims to provide financial assistance to charities who provide in particular support to children, elderly people and other vulnerable individuals particularly but not exclusively within the Northamptonshire area. The trust also has an interest in supporting equine related charities particularly those within the aims outlined above.

Recruit more choristers especially young people. To continue to expand our repertoire. Give schools and other young people the opportunity of performing with us. Give our experienced musicians the opportunity to continue their skills .To support charitable causes. Rehersals at Cwmbach Junior School, Llangorse Road, Cwmbach, on Monday and some Thursday 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Receive donations from over 91 Lions Clubs in South Wales, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Rutland, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, parts of Wiltshire and Somerset and distribute the funds for Local, National and International charitable purposes.

The cafe is open for people to drop in for a chat or to partake in an activity. Additionally, we have a drop in service on a Monday evening, where people can come along, play table tennis, do a board game with others or learn a new skill. We also have groups such as tai chi, meditation, craft groups and carer's groups/bereavement group.

The first obligation is to meet the outgoings and repair and maintain the homes owned by the charitiy. Up to one third of any remaining income may be distributed as grants for the advancement of education. The balance may be applied for relief of 'those in need' among the residents. Any residue may be used for the general benefit of parish inhabitants.

We hold community based activities including our weekly lunch club and keep fit class, monthly meals, walking group and outreach services to combat social exclusion and promote good wellbeing. We have an ongoing 'Digital Inclusion Library' tablet loan scheme. We also celebrate Irish culture in the Northamptonshire area, with our bi-annual dinner dance and 'Stories of Migration' history project.

THE CHARITY HAS HELPED APPROXIMATELY 800 ANIMALS TO FIND NEW HOMES, BE REHABILITATED OR TO STAY IN LONG-TERM FOSTER HOMES. WE HAVE HELPED MANY MORE WILDLIFE THAN WE EXPECTED ON THE ONSET OF NANNA'S,BATS, HEDGEHOGS, WOODPECKERS, OWLS, FLEDGLINGS, BIRD OF PREY, EVEN ORPHANED FIELD MICE! FUND-RAISING HAS INCLUDED COMMUNTITY CARNIVALS, SHOP COLLECTION.WE HAVE HAD STUDENTS FROM LOCAL SCHOOLS & COLLEGES

Leicester Pride is a community based charity with a primary focus on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The charity's main aim is to promote understanding and acceptance of the Gay community with in this area also encompassing the Heterosexual community so as to foster good relations.

By the provision of housing at rents within their means, to alleviate and mitigate hardship for people of limited means living or having lived in Kettering Northamptonshire; and by provision of financial assistance to persons, hospitals and other charitable institutions with similar objects at the Trustees discretion

WE ENCOURAGE LIFE-LONG LEARNING THROUGH HAPPY EXPERIENCES AND INDIVIDUALLY-PACED PROGRAMMES.WE PROVIDE A TOTS COMMUNITY AFTERNOON WHERE ANYONE CAN JOIN IN. We take part in local community events and give free childcare at them.

The Charity's aims are to benefit families in the Northampton area by the provision of activities and facilities for care,leisure and recreation;to promote social welfare by improving the conditions of life,and to benefit the public at large but especially those who are disadvantaged due to their youth,age,financial hardship or social,health or economic circumstances.
