Nene River Church is a non-denominational Christian Church with an emphasis on worship, prayer, youth work and giving. It has friendship groups and groups for junior school (VIPs) and senior school teens (Focus). It began in a house in 2016 and holds the basis of faith as published by the Evangelical Alliance. The Travers Foundation is a volunteer-run Charity that provides financial support to local 13 to 30-year-olds to help them realise their dreams in sports, music and the arts. We help by nurturing the talent of local teams, groups and individuals in Rutland, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire.

The object and purpose of the Crick Playing Field Association (CPFA) is provision, maintenance and development of sport and recreational facilties for the villagers of Crick on the Playing Fields off Main Road, and the protection of the environment of that area.
