Give out grants in the Parish of Barby and Onley

The charity owns and maintains a village hall and these premises are available to hire for locals and the wider community.

Provision of hands-on creative music projects, individual music tuition, resources for use in educational and therapeutic activities, training courses for youth workers and teachers, access to musical instruments, sound recording, rehearsal facilities and associated technology.

Receipt of investment income which is used to finance charitable donations

The Friends of Simon De Senlis Primary School raises money for the school only. We purchase items that are not in the normal school budget. All requests are made to the Friends via the Headteacher and all aspects of the request are looked at before a decision is made

Community Hub with Library

The relief of sufferers of Parkinson's Disease or analogous diseases and the relief of the carers of such sufferers in such way as are charitable at law.

The Kettering Mencap Gateway Club operates on Wednesday evenings from 7 until 9pm at The Crescents Community Centre in Kettering. The social evening for adults over 18 years with a Learning Disability has a programme of events including Bingo, Discos, Bowling and Games. Refreshments are also included.

Scouting Activities through Beaver, Cub and Scout troops

We have provided financial and other support to the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Service to further the advancement of the musical education of students in the County Youth Music groups. Funds were raised by holding various concerts throughout the year, operating a tuck shop at the Kettering Road site, producing and selling "hoodies" and producing and selling audio and photo cds.

We rescue & rehabilitate exotic animals (as well as some domestic species), we also educate & support exotic animal keepers. We provide educational encounters for schools, universities & veterinary professionals & we provide pets as therapy for a wide variety of establishments.
