The objects of the Association are to advance the education of the general public in the study of the art of music with special reference to liturgical and organ music.

The Association was formed in 1958 to work for the restoration, preservation and improvement of all the inland waterways in East Anglia for the benefit of the general public. The association covers the Lincolnshire waterways, Middle Levels, the four main rivers and tributaries flowing out into the Wash, the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads and the detached navigations in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

Grants issued to elderly/needy & ill who must be residents of Burton Latimer. Grants are made in February of each year to those who apply on official application forms. Money will be issued to the applicants heating company.

The CIO will create positive social impact for disadvantaged members of the community by means of grants to individuals, charities and community focussed organisations which support people in need. It will support individual needs and charitable organisations that have programmes demonstrating activity to relieve disadvantage in all its forms.
