Fundraising activities

The John Heygates Charity makes grants, primarily to West Haddon Endowed Primary School or to individual pupils of the school. Grants are also made to other educational and childrens organisations within the village of West Haddon.

Activities include, Regular Support Group meetings, One-to-one support, Social Outings and Educational Outreach workshops among others

Members of the seven main faith groups in Northampton work together to promote respect, understanding and friendship. DIAL (Corby) is a self regulated, registered charity which is run by unpaid, disabled, voluntary staff. Our primary function is to help disabled, elderly or chronically ill people to receive the state benefits, assistance, advice or other help they may be entitled to free of charge.

Climb Your Mountain helps people improve their mental and physical health through physical activities and education, where people feel they have their own personal mountain to climb in life (e.g. depression, stress, anxiety, low confidence). We offer free organised walks plus free books and talks on a range of health and wellbeing topics.

The maintenance in good order of the churchyard or churchyards at Wilbarston for the benefit of those members of the public using the churchyard for remembrance and reflection, or for observation of nature or for passage by the public footway through to the neighbouring field.

The EABTC Welfare Trust provides welfare services to English Bull Terriers placed in its care, and seeks, wherever possible, to find suitable homes for such dogs. In collaboration with the East Anglian Bull Terrier Club it runs events to raise funds to support the aims of the Trust. 4 dogs were rehomed by the Trust in 2013.

To secure for the public benefit the preservation, protection and improvements of Beckets Park as a place of historical and ecological interest and beauty. To promote conservation of the natural plant and trees, animal and birdlife of the park. To encourage appropriate leisure and recreational activities. To promote suitable community events in the park. To be a voice for Beckets Park.
