We support & help those affected by conflict so they are able to use their experience in a positive way to help prevent violence in their communities & beyond.We are the only UK organisation which supports victims & survivors of political violence, conflict and acts of terror through the provision of learning, exploring the causes & effects of conflict & its resolution through non-violent means.

To promote learning and advance public education in the study of tissue viability and do all such things as may be conducive to improve standards in tissue viability as a multi-professional activity.

The Eaton Fund provides small grants to help women in hardship, and artists and nurses. Our grants are given to people living in the UK.

The promotion of education of UK residents who are in need of financial assistance both individual grants and grants to organisations. There is a preference for those who are former pupils of the former Stationers' School, children of liverymen and freemen of the Company; those in or intending to join the trades recognised by the Company. Also, welfare relief to those involved in those trades.

The objects are to educate the Naval Service and auxiliaries and other members of the public about the history of HMS Caroline and the history of the Royal Navy and other matters relating to the defence of the realm.

The NEU Trust Fund Limited gives confidential support and financial assistance. It is there to assist members in times of illness or hardship. The Fund can provide assistance to current members, former members and their dependants.

REMAP IS A NATIONAL CHARITY WORKING THROUGH GROUPS OF SKILLED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE AND A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE. IT DOES THIS BY DESIGNING AND MAKING EQUIPMENT FOR THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. THIS HELPS THEM CARRY OUT DAILY TASKS, OR TAKE PART IN LEISURE OCCUPATIONS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM. EVERYTHING IS GIVEN FREE TO THE PERSON IT HELPS.

BMCF works for the well being of Malayali Community all over the world, especially in the United Kingdom and in India. It is set up and guided by www.britishmalayali.co.uk, the leading Malayalam news portal in the UK, as part of its social commitment; and managed by 7 to 15 trustees elected every year. BMCF takes up at least one case each every month and appealed through britishmalayali.co.uk.

TO ADVANCE THE GENERAL INTERESTS OF THE TEXTILE INDUSTRIES WORLDWIDE, MORE PARTICULARLY IN RELATION TO THE ACQUISITION AND APPLICATION THERETO OF KNOWLEDGE.

Our principal object is to help spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ worldwide. This is mainly done by promoting the aims and objects of Delhi Bible Institute, India and encouraging prayer and financial support for its work through the distribution of news and other resources and organising visits to the UK by DBI's National Director. The Cowrie Scholarship Foundation has a clear mission to fund disadvantaged Black British students through leading UK universities in the next decade. The Foundation will partner with leading Universities, together with with businesses and donors to provide full scholarships to disadvantaged Black British students.

Aching Arms provides comfort teddy bears to parents whose baby has died during pregnancy, birth or infancy. They gift bears to parents via maternity health professionals and befriending groups in the UK. The bears are used to discuss support available to parents. The charity also leads awareness training for health professionals and hosts a telephone befriending service for bereaved parents.

The furtherance of the profession of Occupational Therapy through education, training and research

The charity was established in 1987 to 'record first-hand experiences of as wide a cross-section of present-day society as possible'. Its key focus and expertise has been oral history fieldwork and for thirty years it has initiated a series of innovative interviewing programmes.

The charity's principal objects include the advancement of education in accountancy, financial management and related subjects as well as the support of individuals studying such subjects. It provides CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to members of ACCA and members of the public. It also provides a magazine Student Accountant, technical publications and promotes accounting research.

HSR UK exists, as stated in our charitable object, to advance the education of the public in general (and particularly amongst those involved in health services and in research) on the subject of health services research and to promote research for the public benefit in all aspects of that subject and to publish the useful results.

To promote medical research in such manner in all respects (including contributions to any institution or fund carrying on medical research) as the Trustees in their absolute discretion think fit.

PRIME is dedicated to improving standards of health worldwide, particularly in primary care, through whole person and patient centred educational activities in collaboration with local and national organisations in other countries. We seek sustainability through training trainers and equipping them with appropriate skills.

Chapter Two promotes the Christian faith from a non-denominational standpoint. It publishes and distributes Christian literature in numerous languages and distributes Holy Bibles & Testaments in about 150 languages. Chapter Two has supplied HMP Chaplains for over five years with free non-English Bibles for prisoners in their care.

Jessie's Fund helps seriously ill children, and those with complex needs or special educational needs and disabilities, to communicate by using creative music-making and music therapy. Jessie's Fund works with children all over the UK.

The objects of The Mary Hare Foundation are the relief of persons suffering from deafness and the advancement of education amongst the deaf. In practice the Foundation directs its support towards the deaf children attending the Mary Hare School, Mary Hare Primary School and the Burwood Centre in Newbury and those who benefit from Mary Hare's outreach work (reg. charity 1048386).

The Crohn's in Childhood Research Association (CICRA) is dedicated to creating a wider awareness and understanding of Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, particularly as it affects children and young adults, and offers support to all sufferers and their families. CICRA sponsors approved medical research aimed at finding more effective treatments and an eventual cure.
