WNCBC is a charitable organisation set up to support, represent and provide advice to all village halls and community buildings of any type within the West Northumberland area. WNCBC also aims to facilitate communication between the committees of those buildings.

To manage various fundraising events which involve both parents and children. The monies raised are used mainly to help fund the purchase of additional equipment needed by the school and provide transportation for school trips.

The PTA raises money to sponsor a variety of activities to extend pupil opportunities at the school, e.g. they sponsor curriculum transport (due to the schools rural location this is very expensive and due to this sponsorship all pupils can participate), the school shop, buy equipment to enhance learning, etc.

The PTFA run various fun raising events during the academic year to raise money for the school.

We run girls and boys football teams in East Northumberland. We organise competitions and run association teams.

Assistance to poor, sick in Morpeth and surrounding area. Requests are received from third parties - usually Social Services, Citizens Advice Bureau, etc - and donations are paid to that third party for the benefit of the recipient. Requests during the last financial year were for such items as washing machines, cookers, decorating, furnishing, clothing etc.

Friends of Rothbury First School host events and activities to raise funds to support Rothbury First School in order to benefit the pupils within it.

Support of the activities at Mitford Church

The Association exists to join together Unitarian churches and fellowships and individual Unitarians in the north of England; to encourage the spreading of Unitarian beliefs; and to grant aid to churches. The Association collects income from investments, Trust funds, individual subscribers and donations and distributes it to churches and fellowships within the region and to other Unitarian causes.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intelectual and spirtual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Hexham Pride organises Hexham's annual Pride march and event. The charity also works with external partners in both Hexham and the North East of England to promote LGBTQ activities, events, artists, and any other activity that brings people together as an LGBTQ inclusive community.

Award of one or more annual prizes for research work undertaken under the direction of a member of the Association of Physicians of the North East of England, in order to encourage young doctors to research and expand medical knowledge.

Friends of Ridley Park organise the hire and management of the pavilion for the benefit of the local community. Activities include gardening, tree planting, nature projects, talks, a bird screen area and heritage projects. Throughout the year, we carry out clean ups and litter picks in addition to fundraising for improvements within the park.
