Based in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, we deliver woodland based learning experiences to provide support for children, young people and adults who are experiencing disadvantage, and who have limited access to the natural world. Activities nurture confidence, communication, self esteem, emotional well-being, resilience, social skills, and develop a relationship with nature to support these.

RCAN works to create strong and inclusive rural communities in which social disadvantage is addressed to create an equitable, sustainable, open and prosperous society.We do this by working with local community groups, encouraging enterprise, promoting equality of opportunity for all, speaking out on rural issues.

The Jericho Road Project works with women affected by the sex industry in the city of Nottingham.

The provision of an institute, recreation ground and youth centre for the benefit of the people living in and around the village of Meden Vale near mansfield in Nottinghamshire, with the object of improving the lives of those people, especially those who are members of the mining community.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for participating in paddle-sport and associated water-sports.

The Company has been established for public benefit to promote the education of the public at large by providing or assisting in the provision of opportunities to access, engage in, understand and enjoy literature and writing, including, but not limited to, promoting and organising a bid for Nottingham to become a UNESCO City of Literature.

The charity's work is:a) to raise funds to complete the Trent Vale Trail as a safe route for cyclists, walkers and, where possible for horsesriders and wheelchair users, to access the villages and nature reserves between Newark and South Cliftonb) to maintain and enhance sections of the Trail once bulit and to facilitate the Trail's use by people of all ages and abilities.

Newstead Miners' Welfare Trust is at the forefront of social and economic regeneration in an area high on the indices of local deprivation. Primary activities include: Cafe; social meeting; training, office and conference facilities; fully internet linked IT Suite; access to local service providers including local councils, and drop-in facilities for Job Club and other community support services.

To enhance the development and education of children primarily under the statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community projects.

We offer wrap around care for 3-12 year olds from 7:30am before school and until 6pm after school for local families through both the school term and the school holidays.

The Trust operates within Nottinghamshire and has a particularly strong geographical focus in the Rushcliffe Borough. There are five projects currently operated by the Trust; Forget Me Notts (helping dementia sufferers and carers), Positive Futures (supporting young people), YouNG (focussing on employability skills), Healthy Hearts (primary school programme) and Ready4Work (employability).

Provision of Accommodation to be made available rent free or at such rent or other charge for the poor, aged or infirm born in Nottinghamshire.

To foster and promote knowledge, improvement, understanding and appreciation of the arts and education in the arts amongthe people of Charnwood, the East Midlands Region and nationally and internationally as the trustees decide.

We run Youth Orchestras for young people in Nottingham and its environs. We run three orchestras - training, intermediate and senior plus two jazz bands. We work towards public performances of music on a broadly termly basis. We engage professional tutors and conductors to work with and enthuse our players. Regular workshops, residential weekends and tours also take place.

Provides Housing to those who need it in the parishes of Muston and Bottesford.
