The Midlands Ophthalmological Society is a charity that promotes the continued teaching and learning of ophthalmology within the Midlands. It is dedicated to the advancement of the knowledge, understanding and practice of ophthalmology.

We also provide 'pastoral care', place of worship, bereavement support, religious services nationwide, visit Hindu patients in hospitals, provide cultural activities for young Hindus. ELSTON PRESCHOOL provides a stimulating and caring environment for children aged 2 to 5. We open during school term time and offer flexible and child-centric day care.

We provide a Village Hall for rental of the three various sized halls available for use by all the community in all sorts of activities associated with village halls.

Primary School fund

Activities of the Club include: - the promotion of participation in healthy recreation by providing (a) facilities for athletics including running, track & field and related sports, and (b) coaching, competition and other services to support these activities- to provide & assist in provision of facilities for sport- for the public benefit generally but focused on Worksop & surrounding areas

Funds raised to subsidise activities and educational visits for children whose parents have financial difficulty. Also to provide equipment for clubs, enrichment and sporting activities.
