Ecoworks is a Nottingham based charity that promotes the interests and personal development of people who are socially disadvantaged by delivering activities connected with the conservation, restoration and enhancement of the environment. It currently manages one site on Hungerhill Gardens in St Ann's.

Caters for the religious, social, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the Punjabi Hindu community in particular and other communities in general in the borough of Charnwood, Leicestershire.

We run regular music sessions specifically for children who need extra support with communication and interaction. In small, accessible groups, signs and symbols are used alongside spoken language in songs and musical activities, to help understanding and choice-making. we operate in the NG9 area, attracting families from across the East Midlands.

We are a local group of the world wide organisation 'University of the Third Age' dedicated to lifelong learning for people who are in retirement. We learn in a collaborative way, sharing knowledge, skills and experiences over a vast range of subjects. We have interest groups run by members in a wide range of academic, cultural, leisure and social activities.

We have a programme that is wide and varied provided by 29 interest groups. It ranges from history, classical music, antiques and collectibles, bowls, bridge, soft tennis, gardening, theatre visits, walking and wine appreciation, the latter activity boasts three separate groups which says as much about conviviality as oenology! We cater for 258 members.

WE RELIEVE THE NEED AND RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF PAEDIATRIC BRAIN AND SPINAL TUMOURS, AND THEIR ASSOCIATED SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS BY A) PROVIDING INFORMATION ON AVAILABLE SERVICES TO FAMILIES UPON A CANCER DIAGNOSIS. B) SUPPORTING AND ADVISING PARENTS AND SIBLINGS AFTER A CHILD'S PASSING FROM CANCER. C) PROVIDING GIFTS TO CHILDREN UNDER TREATMENT OF BRAIN AND SPINAL TUMOURS, ALONG WITH THEIR SIBLINGS
