THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR USE BY THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR: A) MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND B) OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.

The object of the charity is, in the interests of social welfare, to improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of Harby and the surrounding area without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by the provision and maintenance of a playing field for use by those inhabitants. This includes a large grassed area, tennis court,pavilion and play area.

The u3a is a member led charity that is focused on participative learning. Most of the educational activities are run in small groups and are run by the members for the members. The structure and content includes seminars, workshops, discussion groups, speaker meetings and activity groups.

The relief of sickness and the preservation of life within Southwell, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas by providing trained and equipped volunteers to attend medical emergencies as directed by the East Midlands Ambulance Service and by the provision of defibrillators in public places.

The Club exists to provide singing tuition in the Barbershop style, under the auspices of the British Association of Barbershop Singers, to any member of the community who wishes to participate in singing and performing to audiences on an amateur basis. Many of these performances are for various Charitable causes such Macmillan Cancer Support, The British Red Cross, etc

Streets4Christ aims to promote awareness and combat hunger, poverty, and suffering amongst the homeless and low waged community, by working with others to empower individuals and communities to effect change in the distribution of food and resources. On a weekly basis a free a 3 course meal and refreshment are provided. Food is also distributed to the street homeless.

Male Voice Choir - We give concerts throughout the year to raise funds and to donate to good causes and other charities. We also train singers to a good standard and work with other organisations to promote and teach music to people of all ages.

To raise money for Keyworth Primary and Nursery School.

During the past year, the charity maintained active contacts with the ethnic minority groups & supported them in various ways. As charity itself in financial crisis no such help could be provided to other groups to enhance the potentiality of the youths. Facilities in training in indian arts, music, drama & basic computer provided together with healthcare, cultural & religious festivals.

Providing, in particular, but not limited to, the provision of financial assistance to the young people of Nottinghamshire who are homeless or facing homelessness on account of their social and economic circumstances. Facilitating access to secure safe accommodation by the provision of a rent deposit grant.

We are a small charity based at the Nottingham Childrens Hospital School and our aim is to make a difference to the lives of seriously or terminally children who attend the School.

The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.The Society's season runs from October to April each year.

The principal purpose of Carlton Baptist Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination.To this end the Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.

3rd Eastwood (St Mary's) Scout Group provides activities for boys and girls in the Beavers (6 yrs - 8 yrs), cubs (8 yrs - 10 1/2 yrs) and scouts (10 1/2 yrs - 14 yrs). These activities are aimed at encouraging social and life skills: independence, initiative, leadership and survival. They attend camps (e.g. canoeing) where they utilise these skills.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL TIME WORK BY ALL MEANS, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. ALSO THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS.

Performance of the English Choral Singing tradition; offering opportutinites to any one who shows an interest in the choral repetoire to sing and listen. Full SATB choir supported by visiting soloists and orchestral musicians and key board players.

We support families with a child / children with additional needs and disabilities by providing activities, training, workshops and holistic care

School for Students aged 3-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties some of which are profound and multiple

Supported Bangladeshi victims off the disaster, Provided blankets,hygenic washes, water tablets. The Phillipines earth quake provided blankets, medicine and shelter boxe. Provided a water tank for Kashmir school and we are still providing help for the schools in Kenya.

Silverdale Community Centre provides a place where all ages of the community come together to take part in a number of activities. Senior Citizens, Pre-school, Bowling, Ladies Section, Brownies, Cubs, Scouts, Karate and Dancing School are a few activities on offer.The Community Association work together to managed the building and provide the best possible facilities for the the users.
