To support existing and past members of Cripps Hall of Residence (University of Nottingham) through the provision of travel scholarships to encourage personal development and benefits to the wider community, discretionary grants for additional Hall facilities and support for cases of individual hardship, and on-going membership / communication services.

We study our scriptures and literature for understanding and comprehension. We promote respect, compassion and affections for mankind, animals and environment. We respect all communities for harmonious living. We have a discussion group and vegetarian club and encourage talks and discussions on religious, cultural and healthy living styles.

The provision of items, services and facilities for Farnsfield St Michael's Church of England Primary (Voluntary Aided) School.

THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR USE BY THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR: A) MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND B) OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.

The u3a is a member led charity that is focused on participative learning. Most of the educational activities are run in small groups and are run by the members for the members. The structure and content includes seminars, workshops, discussion groups, speaker meetings and activity groups.

The charity promotes the performance of music, providing members with the opportunity to develop vocal technique and musical repertoire through regular rehearsal with professional conductor and accompanist. The charity presents to audiences high quality performances of sacred choral music, often working with younger people offering them the opportunity to work with professional musicians.

To promote recreational and therapeutic benefits for less able people and their families.To use the medium of swimming and other sporting activities to help members reach their full potential.To help members gain confidence through achievement.To provide a degree of respite for their carers.To promote a caring family ethos within the Charity.

To raise money for Keyworth Primary and Nursery School.

During the past year, the charity maintained active contacts with the ethnic minority groups & supported them in various ways. As charity itself in financial crisis no such help could be provided to other groups to enhance the potentiality of the youths. Facilities in training in indian arts, music, drama & basic computer provided together with healthcare, cultural & religious festivals.

Collections for the Royal Air Forces Association Wings Appeal at various events (air shows, car boot sales, galas etc) in the Balderton and Newark areas.

Christmas fayre's, summer BBQ's, disco's, film clubs, lottery, Christmas cards.

As well teamwork and self respect, our aim is to provide a sense of belonging and a sound foundation for future employment to provide practical applications for skills which are learned , to train cadets in all aspects of seamanship, we spend summer months sailing canoeing, camping , orienteering , which sets cadets up for Dof E, during winter we are more academic, with classes in communications,

Hold various fundraising events to supplement school expenditure of childrens visits & also to donate additional resources to school.

Providing, in particular, but not limited to, the provision of financial assistance to the young people of Nottinghamshire who are homeless or facing homelessness on account of their social and economic circumstances. Facilitating access to secure safe accommodation by the provision of a rent deposit grant.

The promotion and advancement of the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation, appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts, and the giving of aid to the preservation of our national artistic heritage for the benefit of the public.

Arranging fund raising events to provide equipment for the school.

The principal purpose of Carlton Baptist Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination.To this end the Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.

Fundraising.

3rd Eastwood (St Mary's) Scout Group provides activities for boys and girls in the Beavers (6 yrs - 8 yrs), cubs (8 yrs - 10 1/2 yrs) and scouts (10 1/2 yrs - 14 yrs). These activities are aimed at encouraging social and life skills: independence, initiative, leadership and survival. They attend camps (e.g. canoeing) where they utilise these skills.

Facility to serve the youth of Gedling and District and the local community

To provide social and christian aid (without accommodation) both in the U.K. and abroad.

Risen Life Church seeks to advance the Christian faith through its activities and the facilities offered to the local community. Through our various ministries of public worship, pastoral and spiritual care and moral development we promote Christian values and service by members of the congregation to the community and for the benefit of individuals and society as a whole.

Attend rehearsals, put on workshops, perform concerts in different venues whilst raising money for children's oncology at QMC Nottingham.
