TO MAKE GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS

To relieve emotional distress through providing low cost, self-referred counselling to adults on low income, young people & children who, through lack of means would otherwise be unable to access such support. Based in South Manchester. Clients self refer via 24hour answerphone. 35 voluntary counsellors offer sessions 7 days per week. Appointment only.

To raise money for Firbank Primary School, Royton Oldham. The monies raised provide equipment & educational items to support the childrens learning environment. Community events are held where local residents are invited. Events we hold include discos, fiesta's, Christmas afternoon and non-uniform days.

TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION OF BADGERS IN THEIR NATURAL HABITATS; TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE BADGER AND THEIR SETTS FROM PERSECUTION AND CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES AND TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE NATURAL HISTORY AND ISSUES FACED BY BADGERS TO THE MUTUAL BENEFIT OF BADGERS AND THE PUBLIC. OPERATING PREDOMINATELY WITHIN LANCASHIRE BUT CAMPAIGNING NATIONWIDE.

We take people with disabilities and the underpriviliged on cycle rides at weekends. We provide them with a meal at the club after the end of the cycle rides.We provide bicycles including any specialised equipment needed, helmets and anything else required. There are no membership, other fees or charges.

Our Parents and Friends Association works with the whole school community, including the parish to put on a range of events and activities, for example, fun days, family nights, discos, sponsored events. The events help raise valuable funds to support all the children within our school community including our most vulnerable children.

To provide charitable grants to individuals and organisations within the Oldham Metropolitan Borough Area under the terms of our Trust Deeds.

The storage, preservation and rectification of buses principally designed, developed and operated by the Selnec PTE, GMPTE and G.M. buses covering the Greater Manchester area many examples of which were built in Wigan.

We provide classes to teach Scottish Country Dancing as both a healthy and social activity for the enjoyment of all, together with organising dances for both beginners and more advanced dancersThe Branch also organises demonstrations to promote and encourage Scottish Country Dancing as a healthy enjoyable activity, as well as its music.

TAKES AN OVERVIEW OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF SADDLEWORTH, YORKSHIRE, PART OF THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF OLDHAM AND ATTEMPTS TO INFORM AND GUIDE THE ADMINISTRATORS OF THE BOROUGH AND THE PARISH COUNCIL IN THEIR DECISIONS RELATING TO THE AREA. ALSO SUPPORTS A SERIES OF LECTURES AND INFORMATIVE VISITS OUTSIDE THE AREA, MAINLY TO ENGENDER GOOD PRACTICE IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE DISTRICT.

A 'Good Neighbours' Scheme for the elderly. Community activities for the Christmas Lights Switch On, a Christmas Market and Chadderton Family Fun Day. A community allotment and woodland project to provide a wildlife space with walks, children's play space, pond dipping facilities, raised beds for cultivation of flowers and vegetables run by the local Brownie Group.

PROVIDING GRANTS, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND SERVICE IN GREATER MANCHESTER

Our charity is for the companionship, education & social gathering of women in this community. We are also quite willing to undertake other tasks for the benefit of our community. We monitor the health and wellbeing of our members particularly the elderly ones and provide contact and emotional support.

The Friends of St Matthew's PTA was founded to focus on fundraising for the school. Aims include creating two libraries, providing new books and creating a vibrant, inviting and stimulating environment. Assisting with other resources required around school including IT and our outdoor play areas. We fundraised through various activities including fairs, competitions, lottery and sponsorships.

To extend and improve the relief of sickness, infirmity and old age by providing a quality 'Entertainment and Information' broadcasting service, supporting the work of The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, The Pennine Care NHS Trust and the Oldham Primary Care Trust.

HOBY UK organises residential seminars and one-day workshops for young people, led by young people. We improve their life-outcomes by developing their self-awareness and self-esteem, building their confidence and providing them with leadership skills. We empower and motivate them to become involved in positive social action in their community.

To hold trust property in perpetuity and for the resulting income thereof to be distributed to the Francis Columbine Lodge (Masonic Lodge) for such purposes as are charitable.
