The objectives of the trust are the advancement of education, historical and medical research.

Advance the education of the public in the history, ecology and management of woodland and wildlife in the forty-one parishes in West Oxfordshire, which are in the area of the former Norman Royal Hunting Forest of Wychwood. Conserve, restore and promote the use and management of trees, woodlands and other wildlife habitats and the landscape for the benefit and participation of the public.

The LPFA manages the village recreation ground which includes a Childrens Play Area, an enclosed Multi Use Games Area and two Football Pitches. It also administers the running of the hall adjacent to the recreation ground.

The group provides education and childcare for children from age 18 months up to 4 years of age, running Monday and Friday in school term times. Following the EYFS, learning is play based with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, key person approach and well-being and involvement.The Nursery also runs a baby and toddler group and occasional parent events and holiday clubs.

For the public benefit, the relief and support of people with cancer, in Berkshire, and where appropriate online throughout UK by a) providing complementary therapies in acupuncture, arts therapy, aromatherapy, reflexology, massage, pilates and relaxation techniques: b) providing facilities for the practice of Yoga, Tai Chi and mindfulness training and c) provision of advice and information

Berkshire County Sports Club promotes community participation in healthy recreation through the provision of facilities for a range of sports. These include football and rugby pitches, cricket, tennis and squash courts, and an all-weather hockey/football pitch. All are available for use by members of the Club, as well as other sports clubs, schools, community organisations and the general public.

Provide buildings at the Nuffield Hospital Oxford known at the Botnar Research Institute where research of orthopaedic and allied matters are carried out.

Wantage Silver Band is a charity dedicated to education in music and the art of playing brass band instruments to people of all ages through public performance of concerts, community events and competitions.The Band is dedicated to supporting the existence of Brass Bands through youth development and player education.
