Village Pre-School

To advance the education of young members of the public at large in agriculture, homecrafts, country life and related subjects. Also in the interests of the social welfare of such members to provide, and promote the provisions of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations, being facilities which will assist in their development.

Dwell Oxford purchases properties in Oxfordshire to provide accommodation for (a) vulnerable people at risk of homelessness, and (b) Christian workers involved in the local community.

To carry out activities that provide for the relief of sickness amongst persons suffering from cancer or haematological diseases, in particular by the provision of a unit designed to offer chemotherapy in pleasant surroundings.

Provision of services and support for people in poverty and need, both in the UK and Overseas.

Church of England team ministry with Team Rector (Rev Geoffrey Bayliss). There are 2 places of worship: St. James' and St. Francis'. Regular public worship open to all with teaching of Christanity through sermons, home groups and school "Open the Book" assemblies.There is Lunch Club, a monthly Film Club, groups for carers and toddlers, Junior Church and other social occasions.

Pre School for children between the ages of 2 years and 5 years providing play-based activities aimed at progressing children's development and preparing them for school. It is open from 9am to 3pm each weekday during term time.

We are a relational network of Christian missional communities and microchurches seeking to discover full life through Jesus and bring heaven to earth. We connect virtually and physically throughout the month for worship, community, mission, and discipleship purposes.

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES

Pastoral and spiritual care of deaf and hard of hearing people in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. Runs a volunteer befriending scheme.

Farcycles is an Oxfordshire cycling group that encourages community participation in recreational and lifestyle cycling, through training activities, organised rides and events, and promotion of physical and mental health benefits of cycling. We lobby for cycling infrastructure improvements. We refurbish donated bikes, and give bikes to the disadvantaged, including refugees and asylum seekers.

Community Pre-school - providing early years education for 2-5 year olds

Provision and maintenance of Village Hall and Recreation Grounds for regular User Groups, village residents and others to enjoy.

The advancement of education and the relief of sickness by promoting or providing for the benefit of the public study, research and instruction in ethics and other philosophical disciplines as a part of or as related to medicine and any subject ancillary thereto.

Pre-school education.

In general, the church will provide Christian worship, training and service and will develop events and networks that help contribute to community cohesion. They will provide support to those in need, often in partnership with local organisations and other charities.

OBC CIO is providing facilities for the learning, teaching and playing of bridge for the benefit of the residents of Oxford and the surrounding area, by means of 4 weekly daytime and 4 weekly evening sessions, plus sundry lessons and weekend competitions.

We believe that a child has the best start to their early years education in an environment where they are happy, cared for and their individual contribution is valued by all. We offer Early Years Foundation Stage to children from 3-5 years at morning sessions and children of 2 1/2-3 in two afternoon sessions.

Pre-School Education

The object of the Charity is the provision and maintenance of a swimming pool

The Listening Centre provides an affordable counselling service to individuals on limited incomes who live in and around Oxford. Counsellors & Psychotherapists in training support the service on an unpaid basis.

The charity operates the Village Hall and associated Recreation Field for the benefit of the community in and around the village of Shipton under Wychwood. It leases tennis courts to the Wychwoods Tennis Club and operates two football pitches for local children and young people. There is a gym. The hall is used throughout the day and in the evenings by a wide variety of clubs for young and old.
