We provide interaction, meals and an exercise class for customers in and around Benson, Ewelme, Berrick Salome, Roke and Preston Crowmarsh. Activities are usually located in the Millstream Day Centre, open 3 days a week and staffed by a manager and cook employed by the charity and assisted by volunteers. In response to the Covid 19 pandemic we developed and still provide a meals at home service.

Rivers of Life Church gather together local people to care for one another. Activities this year have included working with youth, single parent families, travellers and the elderly. In 2007 we started a project to build the local community with regular breakfast gatherings in Marston, Oxford. This continues to grow and has been attended by local councillors. Several Oxford churches together share the responsibility of running a debt help centre on behalf of Christians Against Poverty. We help people who are in debt, to work their way out of debt. We are Christians but work with people of any faith or none.

A Centre for under fives, their families and carers to give them the best possible start in life. Open access sessions include indoor and outdoor play focussing on child development and parental involvement, health visitor drop-in clinic, family support, family learning, work with fathers, an outreach programme and some activities for 0-10's. We aim for school readiness and improved life chances.

The primary objective of Charlbury Cricket Club is the provision of community participation and healthy recreation with particular emphasis on the provision of the facilities for the playing of cricket.

Providing the community with leisure facilities to meet local needs:As a membership organisation with elected directors, MCG represents its members' views. On important issues, and to report back to members and seek their views, MCG holds open meetings to which non-members are welcome. Since June 2020, MCG operates village hall and playing fields on behalf of the local community.
