The Charitys main purpose is to relieve sickness and protect mental health through the provision of therapeutic horticulture to those with, or vulnerable to, mental health problems and to protect physical health through encouraging horticulture related physical activity and by promoting healthy eating to individuals and organisations.

We engage in the Cumnor & Botley communities of Oxfordshire to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

Provision of Playing Fields and associated facilities including football pitches, a multi use games area, childrens play area, bowling green, social club and community hall with ancillary facilities, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parishes of Steeple Barton and Westcote Barton. This is partially achieved by leasing the social facilities to a separate non-profit making organisation.

To advance education and to promote research into and study of archaeology, architecture and history and kindred subjects, especially in their relation to one another; to make available to the public the results of such research through lecture meetings and an annual journal, Oxoniensia, containing papers and articles and other items of local archaeological or historical interest.

Providing and operating a Village Hall, and an open recreation field with a fenced children's play area,a fenced area for horse riding, two all weather tennis courts and football and cricket pitches with a Sports Pavilion.

To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the doctrinal basis as the Trustees think fit. To relieve people who are in conditions of hardship or who are aged or sick in the local community and else where as the Trustees think fit. To promote and fulfil other such charitable purposes beneficial to the community and elsewhere as the Trustees think fit.

Conserve, protect, rehabilitate and improve the Thames tributaries rising within the Cotswold area of outstanding natural beauty.

The District supports all the Scout Groups within the district in the aim of the Scout Association "To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities."

Oxfordshire Discovery College provides informal learning programmes to children and young people, along with their parents, carers and professionals, on mental health topics. These programmes are designed and delivered by Experts-by-Training and Experts-by-Experience, to develop resilience, skills, understanding and support networks, and to improve wellbeing.

To provide a debt advice service for Didcot,Wallingford and the surrounding area

Letting of village hall for regular and ad hoc events and some ball games eg badminton.Planned fund raising activities for the benefit of the village and to ensure adequate funds are available for hall improvements and maintenance.

Education/Training. Administration of City and Guilds certificates of competence in land base qualifications

Christian Science Church, Reading Room and Sunday School, holding church and Sunday School services every Sunday at 10.30am, and Testimony Meetings at 7.45pm on Wednesdays. Reading Room and bookshop open during working hours most days of the week. Annual lecture to public.

The support of education and training in the arts through making grants to organisations promoting these activities.

The objects of the Charity are in the interests of social welfare to:a - Provide facilities for and to promote community participation in healthy recreation; andb - Provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for the inhabitants of the area of benefit

MANAGES THE RECREATION GROUND USED BY THE PEOPLE OF CHARLBURY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA FOR SPORTS AND RECREATION. TO ASSIST IN THE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT / ENHANCEMENT OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES ON THE RECREATION GROUND.

We aim to get more people cycling more safely and more often in and around Oxford by:- campaigning to get more people cycling, more often and more safely; - advocating for better cycling infrastructure with the Highways Authority; - putting on workshops, meetings and conferences; - undertaking initiatives within the community that help people to take up or continue cycling.

Promotion of classical music through education and orchestral performance

Network meetings to share learning and good practice; public education; support for organisations, groups and institutions to embed restorative practice into their culture and services.
