The Trust manages the megalithic monuments known as the Rollright Stones and their environment, promoting long term physical preservation and facilitating public access for quiet enjoyment of the site. The Trust also facilitates and promotes research and educational activities relating to the Rollright Stones and their environment.

The charity will provide housing and associated amenities to those in need in the Parish of Deddington, continuing the work of the charitable community benefit society. Beneficiaries of the charity are those who are in need due to age and / or physical disability and/or those who may be suffering financial hardship.

The charity's principal activities in support of its objects are providing lectures, visits and study days relating to the arts and providing grants to relevant artistic projects.

The Welfare Charities provides accommodation for the poor and elderly people of Chipping Norton and makes grants to persons in need.

Sunday services and Sunday School, to which all members of the public are invited, are held every Sunday at 10.30am. Wednesday evening meetings, also open to the general public, are currently being held on-line at 7.30pm. The church sponsors at least one free lecture on Christian Science each year, and maintains a public Reading Room, currently open from 11.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays.

Providing Church and Healing Services

The purposes of our Charity is to advance the education of children and their families, living in Oxford and the surroundings, in the subject of the French culture and language.Our activities include weekly classes (during school terms) of French language and culture, story telling, culture clubs and cultural events.

Clients from Grove and the surrounding area attend our purpose-built Day Centre in Grove which is open every Tuesday and Thursday (excl. Christmas). We employ several part time staff and also have several volunteers. Home cooked meals are provided each day. Activities include supervised care, entertainment, arts and crafts, stretching or other gentle exercise and mental stimulation games.

Holding of religious functions as per the Constitution. Meet local Councillors and other relevant authorities to promote the charity objectives.

Objectives and aimsThe provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Witney and the surrounding area without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:(a) meetings, lectures and classes, and(b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.
