Scouting Activities: Camping, Canoeing, Sailing, Group meetings.

We provide:- A hall for meetings or sports such as badminton or indoor bowls. Kitchen facilities. Small meeting rooms, sports changing and shower facilities. Sports field for football and cricket. We fundraise to upkeep the buildings and facilities; and where possible to upgrade and expand those facilities.

The Trust manages the megalithic monuments known as the Rollright Stones and their environment, promoting long term physical preservation and facilitating public access for quiet enjoyment of the site. The Trust also facilitates and promotes research and educational activities relating to the Rollright Stones and their environment.

Study and performance of choral works by members to promote and develop public education in and appreciation of such works by means of public performance and other appropriate activities.

Chesterton Community Partnership Trustees manage the Community Centre and the Village Hall. The activities are all designed to foster community involvement whether social or recreational. The Village Hall is used solely by Chesterton Play Group whilst the Community Centre accommodates leisure and social activities, including regular afternoon teas, community lunches & a Family Drop in facility.

The Friends currently provides -ú10,000 each year from the income of its capital funds for maintenance of the fabric. Additional monies are raised from talks and social events for Friends and their guests. An annual programme listing these events is sent out.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 1st Thame Scout Group give young people of Oxfordshire the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

The organisation envisions to creating an environment where, the community can take part in cultural practices , Celebrate important events , Offer indoor games and entertainment for the youth. Provide advocacy/advice/information to refugee and other needy people .

To make the Church an accessible and welcoming venue where all can meet and worship through the provision of Bible studies, Prayer meetings and other religious activities. The Church is aiming to develop members through Christian teachings.

Service Funds are estabilished for the benefit of Service personnel to promote efficiency which underpins esprit de corps and team working.

Events, classes and clubs organised by the residents of the village of Horspath. This includes classes for Yoga, Pilates, Art and Craft, table tennis, computer confidence, line dancing and a film club. There is a community cafe, we have lost our post office .The hall has talks, anniversary celebrations, children's birthday parties, a local produce market.Horspath is just outside Oxford City

Managing the running and maintenance of the village hall

Raises funds to be used for the upkeep and preservation of Dorchester Abbey, Oxfordshire

Fundraising - to raise funds for additional items which are not covered in the general school budget to support and enhance the children's learning.Events taking place throughout the year include Quiz Nights, Firework Display, Christmas shop and Summer fete.Communication - to provide a link and voice between the school, the parents and the school governors.
