Provides a venue for community events

The Lions Club of Henley on Thames (CIO) exists to serve our local community and those in need in the wider world, through the Lions Club International Foundation, by providing support and financial assistance. The members also foster good governance, citizenship and friendship by participating in various fundraising activities, which will benefit the local community.

PROVIDING ACTIVITIES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS

The Children's Memorial Garden is an organisation designed to help families who have lost or have a missing child. A peaceful garden and a beautiful orchard is offered for reflection and remembrance, helping them cope with their loss.Some field space is allocated to food production for distribution by local charities and food banks.

Religious activities

The Charity provides and maintains a village hall for the inhabitants of Littlemore and surrounding areas.

Rehearsing and performing traditional choral music. Membership is open to anybody (no audition required).

Provision of housing/accomodation

To advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Fundraising for Lord Williams's School, Thame for school resources and various items of equipment

We run a Men's Shed, to enable men and women to engage in practical activities such as woodwork and metalwork, to learn or enhance their skills in these areas and to enable and encourage social interaction. The shed commenced operation in January 2025.

Letting of rooms to support the Village Shop and Filkins Swimming Pool and Post Office

The aim of the Kidlington Scout Group is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals as responsible citizens. The method of achieving this aim is by providing an enjoyable attractive scheme of progressive training and experiences guided by adult leadership. Including Camps , sailing, competive games

To run and maintain a publicly used village facility used for clubs and societies for meetings ARTS/CULTURE and SPORTS/RECREATION. Private and public events on a 'one off' basis or a short run of events, as in drama performances. The area served is primarily the village but also surrounding villages and towns.

Provides the Sibford villages with a village hall for various activities

The Howe Trust (Wheatley) provides small grants for local people in need, and care for 26 acres of land. The agricultural land, known collectively as The Howe, includes some 100 allotments, an orchard and memorial tree area as well as grassland, hedgerows and woodland. Working with other local and charitable organisations, we manage the land for biodiversity and the benefit of the community.

The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Provision of wheelchair dance and wheelchair dancing classes and competitions to persons of all ages and all disabilities through the medium of inclusive dance training events.

To preserve, conserve and protect The Hurst Water Meadow and any other land acquired by the Trust, its terrestrial and aquatic life and their habitats for the benefit of the public. To advance public education in the study and research of Dorchester on Thames' water meadows and their conservation and the dissemination of the useful results of such research.

A Unitarian congregation meeting in-person in Harris Manchester College, Oxford chapel and online for weekly worship. We also run social/cultural activities, small groups for spiritual reflection, interfaith projects, a social justice group with community outreach and offer members pastoral support.

We provide financial support to impoverished people in (but not limited to) the far west of Nepal. We support an Orphanage and an education project allowing children to access primary education. Our fundraising has included increased support through regular donations following publicity and launch events surrounding becoming a Trust. We have launched our own website and distribute a newsletter
