The PTA has the general charitable purpose of seeking to advance the education and achievement of pupils attending Windmill Primary School, Oxford, by providing funding to the school. This is raised through a program of fund-raising events during the school year. The objective of the charity is to advance the education of the public in the subject of economics in relation to the developing world by the establishment of a Chair at Oxford University or at such other equivalent prominent academic institution in England as the Trustees determine.

Provision of Almshouse accommodation (in Kidlington) for qualifying residents of the parishes of Kidlington and St Aldates, Oxford. Until recently, 6 residents could be accommodated in bedsit accommodation. The accommodation has now been converted to 3 larger units.There is no warden service, and residents need to be reasonably self-sufficient. The Almshouse is a listed building.

The Berkshire Chamber Music Festival is a series of concerts, workshops and educational days in June each year. The festival aims to bring world class classical music to the area with particular focus on reaching those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.
