EDSA is a fundraising organisation based in the UK working to provide support to impoverished children and young people in a township known as Smitsville in the Overberg, Western Cape.

Approximately weekly rehearsals in the Oxford area with four concerts annually open to all members of the public.

A variety of community activities including parish council meetings, local societies - amenity, bridge, history for example - leisure classes (pilates, line dancing) toddlers' group, art exhibitions, drama productions and private parties.

Participation in various community events in Reading, supporting links with Barbados, social welfare activities and meetings for members.

The relief of sufferers of Parkinson's Disease or analogous diseases and the relief of the carers of such sufferers in such way as are charitable at law.

The charity's activities are: the study, practice and performance of choral (and solo or ensemble) music in order to develop musical skills of members, entertain and generally benefit the general public, contribute to community cohesion in Steventon and the surrounding area and, through performances, to contribute to other charities and good causes.

Village Hall and Recreation Ground for social, recreational, athletic and educational purposes. The Hall is used on a daily basis by the local pre-school and by other community groups (local school) on a semi-regular basis and is hired out for parties and events. The grounds and outdoor play area are used by the local community.

To provide funding for activities for St Andrew's CE Primary School by running events and applying for grants in the name of St Andrew's School Association.

The Group provides training within 3 different age ranges for young people both male & female aged 6 to 15. These activities develop the individual and group to fulfil an active place in society. The Group is run by volunteer Leaders and Executive committee, all of which are part of the Scout Association. The Group is funded by membership fees & fund-raising events and grant applications.

We welcome young musicians to join our orchestra, Through the balanced, programming of repertoire, and the weekly rehearsal of musicians, with professional coaching, we prepare works to a performance standard and provide performance opportunities termly. We do not have a geographic constraint despite being named as in 'Reading' - we welcome members from as far as they are willing to travel.
